I will try to summarize my impressions of the holiday. Well, firstly, the flight: be prepared for the fact that the trip in total, with all the delays and transfer to the hotel, will take from 20 to 24 hours, which is very difficult for me, a person who can fall asleep exclusively in a horizontal position. Upon arrival in Colombo, we were told that there were no rooms in our hotel, although we booked them 3 months in advance and were taken against our will to another hotel. There, on the grass near the hotel, we sat for another 4 hours, trying to resolve the issue first with the driver and then with the representative of the tour. firms. The hotel we were offered was much worse. As a result, after 4 hours, we still got to our hotel, where we heard the same thing: there were no places, while Germans were moving us in in large numbers. After long conversations and eventually threats to call the police, we were assigned to the nearby 5 * Royal Palm Hotel. There are no complaints about the hotel, except perhaps the lack of a normal Wi-Fi. For rest in general: boring, dirty, going on excursions is very far and tiring. The climate is difficult for me, because of the high humidity, my head constantly hurt. The food is also not a fountain, to be honest, for 10 days my stomach was twisting and there was almost diarrhea. Long story short, I won't go there again. I think there are many places where for the same money you can relax better and more interesting. Plus, the road is real deadly, departed for another 2 days.
