We rested in Budva three times, never did registration ... No need ... stayed with locals - not with Russians with purchased housing ... Cheaper and more sincere ... Last time they didn’t even buy insurance!!!!!!

Wow, what kind of animal is this - registration?)) I have not heard about this in Montenegro.

They didn't. Although many, even local owners of villas, say that you have to pay 1 euro per day for registration. But this is not so, nothing is needed. They themselves can go and register their tourists for free.

Also, when I was vacationing in Montenegro, registration was not needed.

Thanks again to everyone for your attention! we have already returned from Montenegro and this is how the situation is. We rested on our own, rented housing through Booking. So we paid the owners of the apartments 1 euro per day per person, as if a fee. They are type marked in the local police, and automatically submit information about tourists to customs (?) So that when departing at the airport there are no questions from the issuing party. If someone did not pay in a similar situation (when renting a house, not at a hotel), I glad for you. But we lived in Budva and Tivat, and paid in two places. The amounts are not critical, I think, and absolutely do not overshadow the overall impression of the beauties of Montenegro!

I do not remember any additional fees in Montenegro. Were in the summer of 2015.

the situation with registration (at least in Budva) this year has become much more complicated! No paper media, just "roll your passport" .. and the data is immediately with the border guards. If you have your own apartment - a copy of the property certificate and a passport - and there are no questions. children (grandchildren) up to 12 years of age anyway free of charge. My daughter and her husband came to register on the 4th day - a fine of 40 euros from the nose. And a friend who simply scored on registration (like some here) paid a 200 euro fine at the airport upon departure and received a "red mark" to enter Montenegro. I can vouch for all the cases described here. So be careful if you are not going to a hotel or apartment to a Montenegrin
