The Peggy Guggenheim Collection is a small museum in the Palazzo Venier dei Leoni on the Grand Canal, one of several Solomon Guggenheim Foundation museums.
The permanent exhibition includes more than 300 works. Most of the exposition is made up of the personal collection of Peggy Guggenheim, which includes works by authors who worked in such areas as modernism, futurism, cubism, surrealism, and abstract expressionism. The museum presents works by Picasso, Léger, Severini, Mondrian, Kandinsky, Miro, Klee, Ernst, Magritte, Dali and other artists.
