The Cathedral of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari is one of the most famous and famous cathedrals in Venice. It is located in the San Polo area on the square of the same name.

The actual architect of the church is unknown, possibly one of the monks of the nearby Franciscan monastery. In 1400, at the last stage of work, Scipio Bon supervised the construction. The cathedral was built of brick, in the Italian Gothic style in the shape of a Latin cross, and is divided into three naves by a colonnade of twelve massive columns. The cathedral is 102 meters long and 32 meters wide.

Cathedral of Titian
The Cathedral of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari can be described in one word - Titian. I saw it with a tour guide. But you can do it yourself, there are many descriptions. And I also love Canova, so I couldn’t walk past the monument with his heart.→
