Botanical Garden of the Botanical Institute. V. L. Komarov RAS is one of the oldest botanical gardens in Russia, located on Aptekarsky Island in St. Petersburg. It occupies the territory between the Aptekarskaya Embankment of the Bolshaya Nevka, the Karpovka Embankment, Aptekarsky Prospekt and Professor Popov Street (opposite the LETI Technical University).

The Botanical Garden is administratively subordinate to the V. L. Komarov Botanical Institute, being its department, and thus is included in the structure of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Collection located in the garden of the Botanical Museum. VL Komarova has over 80 thousand samples. The exposition of the museum is devoted to the vegetation of the Earth, the history and evolution of plants, the plant resources of Russia, the relationship between plants and humans.
