The Church of Saints Peter and Paul is a Catholic church and is a national monument in Singapore.
The church was built in 1869-1870. It was erected by the Chinese Catholic community to meet their religious needs and became the center where European priests who went to China got acquainted with the basics of the Chinese language and culture. Currently, the Church of Saints Peter and Paul is under the care of the Carmelites.
