In Israel, we did not have any shopping trips on the tour, everything was just as indicated above in the plan of this tour. The main goal is a pilgrimage to holy places. Very good excursion Farther...

Good day to all! We are going to Crete as a family in June 2013 with children (5 and 11 years old). Among other excursions we want to visit the island of Santorini. I want to ask advice from "experienced" travelers: how best to prepare for the excursion, does it shake a lot on the boat, maybe it's better to give the children some drugs for motion sickness before the trip, go on an excursion on their own or with a tour operator, what to bring as souvenirs ??? In general, we are interested in any nuances, one way or another connected with a trip to Santorini with children. Thanks in advance for the information.

Everything is the same in Crete, even in small towns there are street travel agencies. And like everywhere else, their prices are lower than those of hotel agents. There are no problems with Russian-speaking guides in Crete either, so don't worry. By the way, it seems to me that in Greece hotel guides are more marketable than in Asia or Egypt, and they can also make discounts and excursions as a gift. So I recommend that you first compare the prices on the street and in the hotel, what they offe ... Farther...

Fat cannot be transported unambiguously. I personally observed how they confiscated from migrant workers :) I was also scolded for meat products. But I always spend, for example, herring, because. in Europe there is no such herring - in 99.9% of cases they do not check small bags, such as a computer bag with a laptop. Pack your bacon in there so that the bag doesn't look too bloated and no one will look at it. Only large bags and suitcases are interrupted. You can also bring vodka (if you need ... Farther...

I went to Istanbul from Sunny Beach for one day, left at about two in the morning, and also returned at about one in the morning. The tour costs about 60 euros (I don’t remember exactly), in general, the impressions are very positive from the tour. Istanbul is a beautiful city. We went to the Bosphorus Strait, but not with an excursion (which cost 25 euros from Teztour), but ourselves, we took a tram to the strait, boarded a boat and sailed there. In the end, it all cost us about 8 euros :)) Farther...
