So, I returned home to my native St. Petersburg on June 22. Two weeks in Turkey flew by as always very quickly. It seems that Turkey should already get bored, but no. It all depends on the person and how they manage their time. But I'll start from the beginning.
My husband and I bought a last minute ticket the day before departure and it was a really good deal. I will make a reservation that a St. Petersburg couple also had a rest in our hotel, which for the same period purchased a ticket for an amount almost twice as much as ours - according to the early booking system.
Our hotel is located in the Alanya region, the nearest village is Avsalar. And I planned in advance that we would definitely go to Cappadocia, because of all the seaside resorts, Alanya is the closest to Cappadocia. Therefore, we did not seek to take an expensive hotel, but limited ourselves to 3+, because we were going to go to the mountains for 3 days.

In the travel agency catalog, I liked this hotel because it has a large green area and 2 beaches: its own, rocky and sandy, along with the 4 * Alara and 5 * Alara Star hotels.
It really was great! Our hotel was on the beach, even closer than four- and five-star hotels. And we often went to the rocky beach to snorkel and watch the fish. The sandy beach was also beautiful: it was not imported sand, but its own, fine and clean - a paradise for small children who constantly sculpted castles there.
The food in our hotel was not very good, though we still overate every time. For breakfast, though, you could only overeat with tomatoes alone. But for dinner almost every day there was a fish - apparently, a river fish.
The stay at the hotel was a little overshadowed by the harmful old man, the overseer of the waiters and tourists. He made sure that no one took fruit out of the restaurant, even once he took away an already bitten apple from a small child. He also came up and criticized me for that. that I took a lot of apricots. It was our last day - then apricots appeared for the 1st time. but they were not ripe, so I took a lot. and then cut off the green sides. With fruit in our hotel was not very good. so we bought them at a stall by the road.
But the sea... The sea can not get bored! Especially when there is a change of impressions.
As I said, we planned in advance to go to Cappadocia. The guide from the meeting side offered a two-day tour for $145 per person. We took a three day package for $195 for 2. Unfortunately Russian tourists don't go to Cappadocia for 3 days. Well, but we practiced in English. language. By the end of the trip, I even understood something in German, although I don’t know it. Our group was international: Germans, Norwegians, Hungarians. Dutch. There were 2 guides: Metin spoke German. Evelyn in Dutch and English. Nobody spoke Russian.
Cappadocia cannot be described in words. There are photographs, but they are only aids to memory.

I can only say one thing: I fell in love with Cappadocia. I advise everyone to go. And just for 3 days. Nothing can be seen in 2 days. because the road there - 8-9 hours. But it's worth it! Caves, ancient Christian churches, underground cities, mountains. . . unusual - morels similar to our mushrooms.
When we arrived back in Alanya. I remember Cappadocia for a long time. And compared in the first place, no matter how strange it may seem - the air. Mountain clean dry and wet fish sea - in the mountains and on the sea - everywhere has its own charm!
And finally, I will say that in addition to this excursion, we went to Alanya several times (1 time on a yacht, 2 times on our own - on dolmush), climbed on Ichkala, Kyzylkul, swam on Cleopatra's beach, visited Dalmatas cave, just walked along the streets.
I think that next year we will go to Turkey. After all, we have not yet been to other Ephesus and the ruins of Troy! Of course, there are many interesting things in other countries. But really, according to the combination of the price of the voucher, the service and that. what you can get yourself if you show curiosity - Turkey is the best option!
