By the way, our case of settling in Laphetos was not isolated, some had to live there for two days. We don't know why this is so, but perhaps someone makes money on this, because living in Laphetos is 2 times cheaper...
We went to Otium for breakfast, because we understood that we would remain hungry.
They promised to check us into our room at Otium until 11 o'clock, but in fact we were settled at 14:00.
As an apology, we were given a nice room 1308 in building A on the 3rd floor with a sea view.
In addition, we were given a free safe and free premium access to wi-fi for the period of our stay at the hotel, we were also given 2 certificates for a free massage for 20 minutes, but as it turned out, the person from the SPA center distributes the same certificates to all newcomers, these are just marketing receptions and no one gave us any free massages.
In general, we liked the rest, good clean sea, the room is new and the accommodation was quite comfortable for us.
But every day, somewhere from 12 am to 9 am, the toilet had a very strong smell of sewerage, and this is most likely an engineering problem of the entire hotel. There was a smell of sewage both in the spa and near the pool. We visited the SPA (for a fee), we liked everything.
The territory of the hotel is well-groomed, but very small.
We expected more in terms of nutrition, in the video reviews we saw a lot that we didn’t have in 2 weeks. An exception is Turkish Cuisine Nights, which take place at the hotel on Wednesdays.
In general, the food is normal, there is plenty to choose from, a large selection of fruits. The only thing that was frustrating was the very large number of flies in the restaurant, especially on the cheeses (we even filmed a video).
On the 3rd day of rest, the children vomited in the evening, the next day they found out that not only ours. We don’t know what the reason is, maybe flies, maybe something else, the next day everything was fine, so we decided not to spoil our vacation with conflicts with the hotel.
The a la carte restaurant was not working, under reconstruction, as an alternative we were offered to set the table at the beach bar for $ 10 per person.
The staff is trying, although it is clearly not enough. For example, a lifeguard on the beach (a very hardworking guy Oktum), in addition to acting as a lifeguard, washes and arranges sun loungers and umbrellas, cleans the area, helps bartenders and works as an ice cream man from 13:00 to 17:00.
On one of the days when Oktum had a day off, his duties were performed by a man from the bar, at 18:00, he came up and began to unceremoniously take our things off the umbrella and fold it, saying something in Turkish. It turns out that the bar is open until 18:00, and he already wanted to go home, so all umbrellas and sun loungers should be in their places, then he will be free. Otherwise, as he said, the boss will swear. Apparently, the schedule of the beach as well as the bar until 18:00!
In general, the staff is very positive, they try to fulfill all requests. Saltanat from the guest support service, at the first request, always tried to help. She arranged for PCR tests before the return flight, acting as an interpreter between us and the hotel nurse. At our request, she gave us an antiseptic and masks for the journey, she was always friendly and tried to please.
I was unpleasantly surprised at the hotel by their way of "extra income", at the entrance in front of the amphitheater they sold candies, popcorn and caramelized apples for $ 2 / € for the same money they offered fresh juices in the restaurant, and this was with the ultra all-inclusive system. More was expected from children's animation, given that the hotel positions itself as a family hotel for families with children, the children were bored.
There were a few more moments that did not correspond to the level of the hotel, several times there was no bottled water in the bars and restaurant. When asked what to drink for lunch, they said that it would be in the evening.

Smoking is everywhere on the territory (even playgrounds). The staff said "they paid the money". There is no security. There are no lifeguards - neither on the beach nor in the pool.
At the children's disco, the "animators" in the back room smoked a joint with beer, and started playing the music "Kiss me lower until the morning. "

Free wifi is very bad. Normal costs bucks.
The sea is cool, although this is not the fault of the hotel.

About construction. It doesn’t interfere much, but for some reason the punchers start working when you are going to take a nap after dinner. This person at the reception refused to move us to another room, while he said to my wife: “Do you want us to put you in the Master club?
This is a nearby hotel and a very good one. If I were the management of Coral, I would find out why their manager is offering to move to competitors' hotels!
About cleaning. The room was well cleaned upon arrival. Everything worked, linen and towels were new. Tea, shampoo and soap replenished as needed, rubbish removed.
The staff is friendly (well, except for the conflict during check-in). Bartenders, waiters in the restaurant - beyond praise! The kitchen is great! I have never eaten such delicious pizza and hamburgers anywhere else. Everything was delicious! Turkish alcohol, but everyone found drinks and cocktails for themselves. Great beach bar! Excellent showers and toilets. Without too much pathos, but all in the same style. Ice cream on the beach and near the restaurant. It doesn't need to be timed. And - without restrictions!
The children's menu is a separate line of my opus. Refrigerator with children's packaged yoghurts, chocolate milk.
The gym is adequately equipped, salt room, sauna, steam room - all free of charge, and very friendly and not intrusive staff!
A huge number of pools, different slides. A children's playground with a trampoline and a rubber coating! Animation at the pool level, fit with inspiration. I was especially impressed by the work of children's animators, who also hold a mini-disco. It's just fantastic!
It should be recognized that evening programs for adults were held in the style of amateur performances. The Turks can not get away from hackneyed stamps: the disco began at 11.30 in a bar on the beach. If you swim all day in the sea, then it's hard to wait for this disco. It is not clear why it is so late to start it, what to do with yourself after dinner? And then a lot of teenagers and adults of different age groups.
Is it really impossible to immediately organize a dance floor after dinner separately for teenagers, separately for adults, for example, themed discos of the 80s, 90s, for example, near the entrance to the reception. There is a beautiful ceramic coating. Remove these 2 sofas from there and no need to hold a contest whose ass will burst balloons faster. If these wishes were implemented by the management of "Coral", then the hotel would not have a price for youth and just recreation.
And I still couldn’t understand: if you have problems with electricity (and this happens when the generator is turned on), then maybe you could turn off this crazy color music on the outer fence and on the facades of the buildings? Who suggested such nonsense to them.
In short, if "Coral" eliminates these shortcomings, then it will be difficult to get into Otium Club Marine Beach.

Great hotel for parents with kids. Stayed as a family with two children. The hotel is new, of course everything around is new, dishes, furniture, beds, sunbeds, towels. . . it's very nice.
