We were a family of 2 adults and 2 children (7 and 3 years old).
The ticket was bought from the tour operator "Sunmar" through the travel agency "Pink Elephant".
We arrived at the hotel at around 17:00, we were asked to fill out all the documents for checking into the hotel, after which we were asked to go to the hotel office, where we were informed that the hotel was on the foot and there were no rooms available, they also put us in front of the fact that we we will have to spend the night in another hotel next door.
They assured that the hotel was not lower than the level, an excellent 5-ka.
We phoned the hotel guide "Sunmara", he recommended to agree to everything that they offer us, without particularly defending our interests.
We were taken by car with our things to the hotel "Laphetos Beach Resort & SPA 5 *", we were settled very quickly in a room on the 5th floor of a 6-storey building.
The room, like the rest of the hotel, is very old and tired.

We immediately went to the beach after checking in. After we went to dinner, it was very difficult to choose something to eat, there was a long queue outside for grilled chicken.
But the most unpleasant thing was ahead, it turned out that the air conditioner in the room did not cool at all, and the disco under the windows continued until 2 am. Despite the fact that the road was quite tiring, it was not possible to rest at night.
By the way, our case of settling in Laphetos was not isolated, some had to live there for two days. We don't know why this is so, but perhaps someone makes money on this, because living in Laphetos is 2 times cheaper...
We went to Otium for breakfast, because we understood that we would remain hungry.
They promised to check us into our room at Otium until 11 o'clock, but in fact we were settled at 14:00.
As an apology, we were given a nice room 1308 in building A on the 3rd floor with a sea view.
In addition, we were given a free safe and free premium access to wi-fi for the period of our stay at the hotel, we were also given 2 certificates for a free massage for 20 minutes, but as it turned out, the person from the SPA center distributes the same certificates to all newcomers, these are just marketing receptions and no one gave us any free massages.
In general, we liked the rest, good clean sea, the room is new and the accommodation was quite comfortable for us.
But every day, somewhere from 12 am to 9 am, the toilet had a very strong smell of sewerage, and this is most likely an engineering problem of the entire hotel. There was a smell of sewage both in the spa and near the pool. We visited the SPA (for a fee), we liked everything.
The territory of the hotel is well-groomed, but very small.
We expected more in terms of nutrition, in the video reviews we saw a lot that we didn’t have in 2 weeks. An exception is Turkish Cuisine Nights, which take place at the hotel on Wednesdays.
In general, the food is normal, there is plenty to choose from, a large selection of fruits. The only thing that was frustrating was the very large number of flies in the restaurant, especially on the cheeses (we even filmed a video).

On the 3rd day of rest, the children vomited in the evening, the next day they found out that not only ours. We don’t know what the reason is, maybe flies, maybe something else, the next day everything was fine, so we decided not to spoil our vacation with conflicts with the hotel.
The a la carte restaurant was not working, under reconstruction, as an alternative we were offered to set the table at the beach bar for $ 10 per person.
The staff is trying, although it is clearly not enough. For example, a lifeguard on the beach (a very hardworking guy Oktum), in addition to acting as a lifeguard, washes and arranges sun loungers and umbrellas, cleans the area, helps bartenders and works as an ice cream man from 13:00 to 17:00.
On one of the days when Oktum had a day off, his duties were performed by a man from the bar, at 18:00, he came up and began to unceremoniously take our things off the umbrella and fold it, saying something in Turkish. It turns out that the bar is open until 18:00, and he already wanted to go home, so all umbrellas and sun loungers should be in their places, then he will be free. Otherwise, as he said, the boss will swear. Apparently, the schedule of the beach as well as the bar until 18:00!
In general, the staff is very positive, they try to fulfill all requests. Saltanat from the guest support service, at the first request, always tried to help. She arranged for PCR tests before the return flight, acting as an interpreter between us and the hotel nurse. At our request, she gave us an antiseptic and masks for the journey, she was always friendly and tried to please.
I was unpleasantly surprised at the hotel by their way of "extra income", at the entrance in front of the amphitheater they sold candies, popcorn and caramelized apples for $ 2 / € for the same money they offered fresh juices in the restaurant, and this was with the ultra all-inclusive system. More was expected from children's animation, given that the hotel positions itself as a family hotel for families with children, the children were bored.

There were a few more moments that did not correspond to the level of the hotel, several times there was no bottled water in the bars and restaurant. When asked what to drink for lunch, they said that it would be in the evening.
At some point, the sanitizers ran out of antiseptic, the guests were indignant, and the next day the issue was resolved: sanitizers were on all tables filled with water, a couple of days later the antiseptic appeared again.
