We have long wanted to visit the Poltava region and the famous Sorochinskaya fair. That is why we decided to relax and get medical treatment in the sanatorium. Gogol in the city of Mirgorod. We chose the resort based on online reviews. The room was booked in advance, as the resort is full during this period. We arrived early in the morning and check in was quick and hassle free. We were assigned an attending physician (Revutskaya), who prescribed us a number of tests and examinations, and a whole range of procedures. We paid for the vouchers on the spot for the full cost for 14 days, and here is the entire list of medical services included in the cost of the voucher, which we were prescribed: OAM, OAC, ultrasound of the OBP, fibrogastroscopy, sigmoidoscopy (there is such a delicate doctor who will have a rest, go for sure, you will not regret, mineral water is also used for the procedure); now procedures: ozocerite, massage 1 zone 10 sessions (at the same time the massage was of high quality), oxygen foam, inhalations, aromatherapy, microclysters, baths, showers (circular for me, ascending for my husband), magnetotherapy, amplipulse, darsonval, exercise therapy, also a pool (the pool is really paid, but at a discount if you take 10 sessions). To be honest, this is the first time in a sanatorium we are prescribed so many procedures, and this despite the fact that we lived in a "standard" room and the cost of a ticket per day per person was low (350 UAH. ) And, yes, I also forgot about taking mineral water, which is the main healing factor, but it didn’t suit me, the acidity increased, and it really suited my husband for the liver. But, if the treatment here is at a high level, then the food leaves much to be desired, and it's not even the cost of the tour, but the little things. In general, the portions are normal, the menu includes both meat and fish dishes, and there is some kind of variety. But! Paradox! Profile of the sanatorium: diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, and borscht is seasoned with vinegar, and this is in August, during the season of tomatoes! Tomatoes, by the way, were also imported, wooden, odorless and tasteless, as well as cucumbers. Of the first courses, only soups were dietary. The second courses, especially their feature: stewed potatoes with vegetables, were also far from dietary. In general, nutrition needs to be put in order, although I am not picky about food, but elementary diets. nutrition must be observed. Now about living conditions. Despite the fact that we lived in the simplest room, the conditions are quite good: the room has been renovated, new furniture, bathroom. the node is also in order, with a shower cabin. The disadvantages include the poor soundproofing of these rooms and a small area, although the area suited us, we only spent the night there, and the rest of the time we were on procedures, or in the park, or on the embankment. The resort itself is located in a suburban area, but has a large area with a park area and a beautiful embankment. There is a beach with sunbeds (free of charge) on the Khorol River, but since it was not very comfortable to swim in it in August, we took catamarans and rode along it. We also rented bicycles in the evening and rode around the territory. As for the service: medical procedures are not released on weekends and holidays - this is a minus, and we just got on a holiday on 24.09 and 2 days were without procedures. Regarding the cleaning in the room - well, if you ask well, they will remove it, but this way: they cleaned it with a vacuum cleaner, and that's okay. Regarding the Internet: it doesn’t catch in the rooms, only in the hall, but the hall is beautiful, sit there on your Internet if there is nothing else to do. In general, we liked the sanatorium, we are quite satisfied with the rest and treatment, we plan to come again, only we will take into account some nuances and advice on this matter: - porridge with something, do not take stewed potatoes, it is with vinegar and mivina; 2. Drink mineral water with caution, first try it so that there is no aggravation; 3. about the pool: the water is heavily chlorinated, not everyone can tolerate it; 4. Sometimes a lot of mosquitoes, take protective equipment; 5. drink phytococktails, they soften the effect of mineral water; And in conclusion: we did get to the Sorochinskaya fair, but we didn’t feel delighted. For me, it’s just an ordinary flea market, only with songs, dances, and around a crowd of people idly wandering around, not quite sober, and everything is somehow stupid. 3. Although we were in autumn at the height of seasonal vegetables, no zucchini, eggplant, peppers, etc. was not in any form. Fruit - 1 time for lunch in the form of 1 apple or a small bunch of grapes.
4. The menu in the sanatorium is "custom", but! the order is accepted for 3 days, so those who come for a few days will have to eat for the most part what they have cooked more.

This is a three-story building, consisting of only 7 two-room suites (apartments), with its own very pleasant service staff, who, by the way, do not take money for any persuasion. The rooms have absolutely everything: a good stylish design, air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, kettle, dishes, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and even toothbrushes with toothpaste. Towels are changed every day, bedding every three days. The highlight of this cottage is that it has its own very decent outdoor pool with sun loungers and umbrellas. Some procedures are carried out in the cottage (massage, hydromassage, hydromassage baths); there is a sauna, gym, billiards). Very beautiful and green territory of the resort, a magnificent embankment. There is a very nice church of Panteleimon the Healer, in which every day at 15 o'clock a service is held. VIP meals are very satisfying and plentiful (on order for 3 days in advance), but rather monotonous, but if you are not a gourmet, then it is quite tolerable. No dress codes, everyone is dressed very simply, no matter what, evening dresses were not noticed. Very pleasant service everywhere (doctors, procedures, canteen). All in all, no stress. They speak Ukrainian, but instantly switch to Russian without hysteria, claims and displeasure (as, for example, in Truskavets). Who has problems with the liver and gastrointestinal tract, you are here. Lots of testing methods. All staff are good and professional.
