Vilkovo - antiVinecia
I can say about Vilkovo that this place does not yet deserve the attention of an average tourist. Particularly sophisticated connoisseurs of rural and water areas may be pleased, but you will not see Vinezia.
The first thing that impresses is the road after the turn from the Odessa-Reni highway, the car was very sorry, but it was tiring to drive (as a driver). In Vilkovo there are only separate recreation centers and several cafes where you can have a bite to eat. There are practically no places for recreation with tents, and housing prices are no less than on the South Coast. The only thing that deserves attention is a boat trip on the Danube.
I would not recommend going specially from afar for the "Ukrainian Venice" for only one excursion - the road is too tiring, and there are not many impressions.
