The hotel was chosen in advance (discounts are available for early bookings). We lived in a 4-bed room in the hotel building (4th floor). It can safely accommodate 6 people. Climbing the stairs to the 4th floor is not difficult.
Everything worked fine in the room. Excellent beds with mattresses, linens - not every hotel is so good. Cleaning (in the bathroom) every day. The room itself was not particularly cleaned, so I can’t say if the room was cleaned or not. In any case, it was always clean with us. Minor "cons": the mirror in the bathroom is located a bit low, and a sconce begs to be installed near the mirror in the room (in the morning, until the sun rises, the room is dark, and you don't want to turn on the general light).
The view from the window is supper (especially when the sun shines on the peaks)! The floor in the room, as well as throughout the building, creaks, and audibility takes place. But this did not bother us: the neighbors were not noisy, and we ourselves, I hope, did not interfere with anyone. In individual cottages, probably, this is not important.

We ate at the restaurant/cafe of the hotel. In the morning, good omelettes, milk porridges, cheesecakes, dumplings. Borscht, chicken soup, meat dishes for lunch and dinner - everything is always delicious. For the price - as in all Bukovel. !!! ! In the restaurant / cafe of the hotel "Torba" an additional 10% service charge is added to the bill! (maybe somewhere cheaper, but it was convenient for me to go down in slippers and comfortable clothes right from my room for breakfast to a restaurant / cafe).
We went to the sauna twice. The first time we paid for 1 hour - it turned out to be not enough. 2 hours is just right. The sauna is heated with wood, the temperature is sufficient. Very invigorating pool with a water temperature of +18 degrees. Tea with honey is brought to the relaxation room (perfectly complements the rest).
The location of the hotel in the village - not the center, but walk - not far. A high metal staircase (there are not enough vertical railings and you don’t have to rush when going down - it can be slippery) or climbing an asphalt road a little further is your choice. With breaks for rest when climbing the stairs (if you do not arrange a race for speed) - and you are at the hotel. The courtyard area has a fairly noticeable slope, but the snow was well removed and it was not slippery. We were also lucky with the weather: -5.... -3 no wind and snow in the morning refreshed Bukovel. + sunshine, and a few days of light cloud cover.
Regarding payment at the hotel: cash and by card. But in no hotel do they charge an additional commission from customers when paying with a bank card (here they charge an additional 3% to the payment amount)! And when paying for lunch / dinner for 4 at 600-800 hryvnia, 3% is the cost of almost one dish.
Despite some issues, the stay at the hotel is good.
I would especially like to note the administrator Svetlana. This is a person who knows how to work and communicate with clients. Always friendly and responsive, will provide the necessary information, explain everything, advise. Huge RESPECT to her!
