I was in Andorra with my wife from 03.03. 10 to 10.03. 10. He lived in the town of Encamp, in the hotel "Encamp" 3 *. As for the hotel, there were no complaints, everything is quite at the level of the top three. Feeding more or less, there were no special frills, but meat for dinner was provided. In the morning, as in any trio, it is based on cereal and amlet, which in general did not bother. There was ice cream, cool fresh rolls and sandwiches. Andorra itself is a small, pretty country, clean, comfortable. Shops, restaurants. The town of Encamp is a mixture of car services, cafeterias and hotels. Our skating was excellent, especially on the last day, when a lot of snow fell on the eve, it was possible to drive through deep fluff. The snow itself is unusual, light. We rode only in the area of grandvalira, which was quite enough. (You could also go to Vallnord). There are difficult and easy trails, off-piste skiing is also quite enough. The cost of 6 days of skiing for two for ski passes is about 360 euros. We took ski passes from our guide named Ivo. He speaks Russian very well, with almost no accent. Any question is answered without problems, positively. They were not fond of shopping because. traveled on a tight budget. Given this budget, it was not necessary to count on Calvin Klein and all sorts of bad bosses. Although in comparison the prices there are certainly attractive, but not for everything. From a number of clothes, my wife noticed that in Moscow they can be taken for quite the same prices. At the same time, I did not observe a special run-up in the number of brands represented. Personally, I was content with ZARA. Quite an economical option with good quality. As for the prices for food, they are as follows: pour boiling water into a thermos in a hotel - 1 euro (not a joke), a kebab-type sandwich with a bun and chopped fried meat on the mountain - 9 euros, at McDonald's or a hot pizza burger 7 euros , cola 0.5 - 2 euros, beer 0.5 - 2.5 euros. Spaghetti balonez or pasta 7 euros in cafes and restaurants. Soup about 5 euros. There are complex "business lunches" for 10 euros per person, including soup and main. The quality is so-so, but not bad. Products in the markets are not very different in price from ours, therefore, judging by the bags stuffed with store food, tourists walking along the streets, many people use this option in order to save money. Very cheap alcohol, pleasant not expensive, and not bad Spanish bottling wine from 1 to 6 euros per bottle. Travel from Encamp to the capital - Andorra La Vella 1.4 euros per person. Buses run every 15 minutes. A road train delivers to the mountain for skiing (free of charge), from the foot to the ski areas on the funicamp. In the afternoon, on the mountain, they ate sandwiches purchased at a nearby market for 1.5 euros for two normal sandwiches with different fillings (meat, salad, fish, etc. ). Always fresh and tasty. Packed in triangular rigid plastic bags. Very convenient in a backpack with a thermos. It was annoying that not a damn thing worked in the evenings, everything turns off at 20:00, including grocery stores. No entertainment. Bars are so-so, everything is simple and without taste. I liked only the bar owned by a Dutchman (in a nearby hotel called "Paris Londres") Sociable, normal man, fun to talk to. Mostly Germans sit, good atmosphere, cards, dominoes. The Andorians themselves (or Andorians) are not very sociable, they are confused on themselves and not on tourists, lean, boring. Nature, mountains, skiing 5+. Of the minuses, I can only note the lack of evening skiing and illuminated slopes on grandvalira. Boredom in the evenings. Of the minuses, I would like to especially note the policy of the Transaero airline company, their “kind” employees charge 9 euros per 1 kg of overweight, both there and back, while the equipment (skis, boards, etc. ) is considered as luggage, unlike for example, from S7, where equipment is generally transported free of charge (respect for this). In view of the above, it was a pity to see old people and young people dumbfounded by invoices for an excess of tens of euros. In addition, old and rather zadrochennye aircraft, not very nice. So I highly recommend choosing another carrier if possible. If not possible, then monitor the weight of luggage and equipment. Permissible 20 kg per person + hand luggage 5 kg. Hand luggage was not weighed back, so we stuffed as many things as possible into the bag and backpack, making it easier for the bags to be checked in. Later, when communicating with the "guru" of skiing, I learned that Austria and Italy are much better than Andorra, long slopes, variety of tracks. But in terms of pricing, I think they are much inferior. Thanks. Have a nice holiday.
