Trip 07/27/2018 - 08/06/2018, Abu Dhabi, Al Raha Beach Resort 5 * hotel.
FLIGHT. Fly Dubai airline, Zhuliany airport, Kyiv. Departure to Dubai on time (departure at 15.20), back to Kyiv (at 9.20) with a delay of 25 minutes (we sat in the cabin and waited for takeoff, because in the morning a lot of planes depart from Dubai airport). On the plane, for dirhams / dollars, you can take food (snacks, water, alcohol) and Duty Free goods (the catalog is in the pocket of each seat, in front of the passenger). You can also watch a movie for money. If the ticket has an Emirates logo, food and water are provided free of charge.
HOST PARTY Rustar Tourism. Transfer (jeep for 7 people) to the hotel and back to the airport served on time, without delay. The two of us drove to our hotel and back alone in the car.

LOCATION OF THE HOTEL. The hotel is located an hour and a half drive from Dubai, on the banks of Al Raha Creek. The hotel has a horseshoe-shaped building on three floors, floors G and B, swimming pool, gym and spa (3rd floor, first massage 50% discount with the flyer that is on the table of your room), with rooms of different size and twenty-two detached villas with their own territory and pool. There is also a nightclub with live music on the ground floor on the left. The occupancy of the hotel was 60 percent, of which - Arabs (many locals with families), Germans, Americans, there were several Russian-speaking families with children. Near the hotel there is a school, a highway and a residential area actively under construction. The check-in was very fast, we ordered a Superior room city view with two single beds. Because such a room was not available, we were offered a Superior room sea view on the 3rd floor for free (thanks, Shancar). Entrance to the hotel elevators on the room card.
DEPOSIT. When booking the tour, the travel agent announced the amount of 500 dirhams / day plus a tourist tax of 10 dirhams / day. Also, similar information is found in many reviews of tourists about this hotel. With a full payment for the tour, in the absence of a mini-bar in the room and when paying for hotel services by card or in cash, we did not pay a deposit at all, but only paid the tourist tax for all 10 days of stay in the hotel in cash (dirhams). We exchanged a small amount immediately upon arrival at Dubai airport (rate 1 dollar / 3.60 dirhams), at the hotel the rate was 1 dollar / 3.47 dirhams. There are Russian-speaking staff at the reception during the day shift, Diana talked to us, thank you very much for her help!
ROOM FUND. We got a room overlooking the bay and the "plate" of the office center. Room over 40m2, with a balcony (with two armchairs and a table). In the room: two separate beds, a table, 2 bedside tables, a plasma TV (more than 150 channels, 2 of which are Russian-speaking), a mini-bar, 2 armchairs, a bookcase, a safe, a kettle with tea / coffee sets, a hairdryer, 2 bathrobes, 6 towels, slippers, closet, huge bathroom and toilet. The adapter is issued at the reception. There is also one European socket near the table in the room. Every day, sets of shower gel, shampoo, soap, body lotion were replenished, fresh flowers and rose petals were placed on towels. There were also shower caps and cotton buds with discs. There was no disposable toothpaste and brushes, blades. Room cleaning is "excellent", every day at the touch of a button near the front door.
Each room has free Wi-Fi, no password required. Worked without problems, even on the beach.

FOOD. We had BB food reserved. Every person entering the restaurant is escorted to a free table and asked for a room number. Breakfast is served on floor G, in the restaurant, from 7.30 to 10.30. For all 10 days, the set of dishes was the same (several types of sausages and cheeses, scrambled eggs with fillings, various muesli with nuts and raisins, red fish and fish with spices, rice or noodles with vegetables, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, cucumbers, Beijing cabbage, several types of fruits and juices, pastries and dried fruits, tea, coffee). Everything is delicious and clean.
You can also order food to your room from the restaurant around the clock (photo of the menu is attached). Also in the lobby there is a wonderful cafe "Mozart", I advise you to visit.
With a late transfer (we left the hotel at 4.40 in the morning), we ordered Breakfast-boxes at the restaurant the day before, which we were given upon check-out (they had a bottle of water and orange juice, a plate of fruit, pastries).
TERRITORY OF THE HOTEL. On floor B there is access to the beach (they give out towels according to the room number), a gym, a changing room with a shower, lockers for clothes and squash halls. The beach is small (open until 20.00), free sunbeds and umbrellas are always available. There is a pool with chilled water, it is also divided into a children's area. There is also a children's mini water park and a kids' club. There are many lifeguards who keep order, they also have a first aid kit. There is a bar on the beach where you can order pizza (for example, "Margarita" for 75 dirhams), seafood (178 dirhams plate), meat dishes, cocktails, desserts, juices, ice cream.
If you go to the left of the beach, you will see an area with 22 villas of this hotel with a private beach and a swimming pool, where you can also swim and sunbathe. We also walked around the area. It can be seen that the hotel is looked after, but everywhere you can see that he knew better times.
You can also directly exit from the hotel lobby along the corridor to Al Raha Mall. It is small and has three floors. On the ground floor there is a Lulu supermarket, several fast food places, so you can eat there and buy souvenirs to take home. Also on the first floor on the left side at the entrance to the mall from the hotel there is a currency exchange (1 dollar / 3.67 dirhams, 1 euro / 4.10 dirhams). The point works from 11.00 to 23.00, on Friday - from 15.00 to 23.00.

EXCURSIONS. Our guide was Anna. She phoned us, suggested several excursions (Ferrari Park and water park). But since we are not the first time in the Emirates, we refused. Independently were in the Louvre, Emirates Palace, in several malls, on the waterfront and in the Mangrove Park. We traveled by taxi, which is served right at the entrance to the hotel.
TAXI. When landing in a taxi, 5 dirhams are taken. Kilometers 1.82 dirhams. The minimum tariff is 12 dirhams (photo of prices is attached). Each car is equipped with a powerful air conditioner and a Wi-Fi system. Several times I came across taxi drivers who wound up a decent meter, drove in circles. We then just started taking a screenshot of the road to the object where we needed to and showed it to the driver. Immediately the circles stopped and we were taken in the right direction along a straight road.
ATTRACTIONS OF ABU DHABI. The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city, to all attractions, large malls are quite long distances. Therefore, if you rent a car, it will be cheaper than a taxi.
LUVR. It takes 25 minutes by taxi from the hotel. The museum is located on an island connected to the highway by a separate road. The cost of a taxi is about 70 dirhams one way. Monday is a day off at the museum. On other days of the week, it is open until 20.00 or 22.00. We went on a Saturday after 4pm. The museum was open until 20.00. The entrance has risen in price - 63 dirhams (the old price of 60 dirhams is indicated on the sites and tickets). The museum has 12 thematic halls of the history of civilization with 3D tables, where you can get acquainted in more detail with the exhibits of the hall in projection in English, Arabic and French. There is also a soundtrack in headphones near some of the exhibits, which are taken when buying tickets. The museum was shocking, well-chosen themes of the halls, wonderful exhibits, their placement. Guards are well placed everywhere to keep order in the hall. It's worth a visit, I recommend it to everyone. Photography allowed. There are sofas in each room, you can sit down and relax. You are not allowed to bring food and water with you. If, nevertheless, you took at least water, you can leave it with the guard and pick it up at the exit. I must say right away that it takes from two hours to inspect all the halls. We were before closing. After 20.00, the guards look at the exit where the taxi stop is, who needs to leave and call cars. The island is completely closed at night.

MALLS. We were in two malls - Marina Mall and Dalma mall. They are located 25 and 15 kilometers from the hotel. These are standard malls with huge food hypermarkets. There are very few people, branded goods stores empty of visitors. We could not connect Wi-Fi in the malls, some kind of confirmation was required, as we understood, from a local number. Prices are the same as ours. We skimped on souvenirs at the Dalma mall. Dates and coffee bought in the same place in the Carifur hypermarket. There is also a good souvenir shop at Al Raha Mall (right at the entrance from the hotel, on the left side). There we bought magnets, oils and a few cups. Bargain! The seller at the auction gives a good discount.
SUMMARY. Since we planned a quiet secluded holiday without shopping, we got what we wanted. The hotel and its staff evoked positive emotions. If you plan a secluded quiet vacation, then this is it.
If we talk about the cons, then I see only two of them.
First. This is the REMOTE of the hotel from the city itself (its outskirts), it is inconvenient to get to the main attractions of Abu Dhabi. If you are interested in seeing the city and combining it with a beach holiday, then I advise you to take coastal hotels on Yas Island, but the price there will be much higher.
Second. This is often written in the comments - CONSTRUCTION on the opposite side of the beach. A reclaimed strip of sand with three-story buildings of the future hotel under construction (photo attached) and noise from this construction site at night. The workers are working actively, while we were driving piles during the night shift. There was that dream, the audibility in the room is excellent.
But we always rest with a positive mood! We rested well, sunbathed. Thanks to our permanent travel agent Anna ("Helios tour", Kyiv) for a perfectly matched tour and price!
I wish you all a great holiday!
If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer them all! Travel positively!
