Returned with his wife from the UAE 26.04. 2012, after a week's stay. The following circumstances were embarrassing when choosing a tour: the absence of an "All Incl. " food system and the presence of "dry law" in the Emirates, as well as the widespread insinuations that free soft drinks are available only during breakfast. On the very first day of rest, doubts were dispelled: right behind the hotel fence there is a shop with alcoholic beverages in which prices (1L. Bourbon "Jim Beam" - 55 Dhs. ; 2L. Scotch whiskey "William Peel" - 60 Dhs. ; beer 12x0.33 - 60 Dhs. ) is cheaper than in the "duty free" of Dubai, and within walking distance are supermarkets with Russian prices for food and water (0.2 kg. canned fish - 3.75 Dhs. ; 75g. processed cheese type " Viola "- 1.5 Dhs. ; 1 kg. Peaches - 10.45 Dhs. ; 1.5L. Water "Arwa Mineral" - 1.5 Dhs. ; 1 kg. Watermelon - 2.25 Dhs. ; 1 kg. Bananas - 4.45 Dhs. , etc. ); course 3.5-3.65 Dhs. for 1$. We had a system of two meals a day, which could, according to the daily choice, be carried out in the "breakfast-dinner" or "breakfast-lunch" mode (you can order the missing third buffet for 50 Dhs. in the same restaurant, but it is better to taste national dishes in any of the many nearby cafes and restaurants, and in case of tightness of funds, have a snack on your own with some of the purchased products (three times cheaper); drinks at lunch and dinner without restrictions, people also collected drinking water on the beach in containers directly in the restaurant (from the cooler). In the cafes on site, a cocktail of 20-30 Dhs. . . In short, the materiel allows you to survive with the most modest possibilities (namely, the hotel seems to be designed for this kind of contingent of visitors). Everything else is rather modest, but fully corresponds to the declared 3 *: the room is cleaned and linen is changed daily, hot water is always available, food is no frills, but quite varied and good, the staff is friendly (at the reception desk - Russian-speaking, and the rest - understanding language gestures when vocabulary in English is not enough)! Sea at 100m. (contrary to official releases about 300-600); the beach is excellent: the coastline of its own beach, however, is only 150 meters long, but the sea is clean, the sand is beautiful (fine, yellowish); no corals or jellyfish for you - you won’t hurt your leg or burn yourself (only harmless fish and small crabs); indeed, there is some problem with the sunbeds - it would not hurt to add them (if you arrive late, it may not be enough - other vacationers will take a break by laying out towels and leave themselves - as a result, you may have to wait for a while when the sunbed is free) and update - obviously, this is a consequence of the fact that both towels and sunbeds are free. The only serious minus is the unceasing construction next door (on one side of the hotel): 4 tower cranes work alternately day and night, so sometimes (at times of emergency) it can be noisy to sleep, but, as a rule, the noise level is not louder than the background of a working air conditioner in the room. The music that does not stop until 02-00 in the restaurant and in nearby cafes is a kind of "retribution" for those vacationers who got a room with a sea view (fortunately, it is almost not noticeable on floors above the third). Pros: the complete absence of any animators; live music (with a peculiar, however, repertoire) in the restaurant; a night bar next door with Indian motifs for exotic lovers (which, however, is not to the liking of the female half of the vacationers due to the unambiguous looseness of the speakers - Indians). Generally speaking, we decided that in this hotel - the rest was a success! Warm, quiet, calm - there are no outsiders either on the beach or in the hotel: two-meter black security guards keep order (with the same zeal they open the doors in front of the ladies or drive away the spurious buzzers). In April, except for Egypt, there are practically no other places for comfortable swimming (with a sea water temperature of 25-27C. ) for such a modest fee (from $ 900 per person per week). I won’t talk about popular goods - each review has its own recommendations (it seemed to us that there was not much difference with our homeland in terms of assortment and quality, and even after all the expenses ~ $ 800 remained unclaimed and returned home), but I hope that at least for you, fellow citizens, a daily free bus transfer to Dubai (from 15-45 to 20-45) and paid excursions offered by a travel agency (from $ 55 to $ 400) will allow you to get rid of excess money during shopping and sightseeing, and after them exhaustion - the final trip to the local museum of local lore (15-20 minutes of leisurely walking and 5Dhs. from the "nose") will provide an opportunity to join the real history of the visited emirate. So, the choice is yours!
