I did not think to write about this hotel. There are plenty of reviews about him... But memories beckon back. Wanted to share. I'm not just talking about the hotel. We stayed in November 2014. Well, they grabbed a very profitable ticket and rushed... The second time in the UAE, in Dubai. The hotel is big, I would even say huge. Generally very well located. Equidistant from Al Fahidi metro stations (green line: Deira, airport, etc. ) and Al Karama (red line: Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa, and, in fact, almost the entire city). It's a 20 minute walk to them… Taxi drivers know the hotel, the area. This is good, because our first hotel (on the first visit) was not known. They strayed, drove in circles. Here, if they carry it like that, it is clearly on purpose. The hotel itself is neat, clean and pleasant. Upon arrival, at first I was unpleasantly surprised by a human anthill, noise, din, fuss near the reception. The size of the hotel is suitable for this. Of course, there are a lot of people (the hotel is large), but in the future it did not interfere at all. Settled in immediately. They say you need to ask for a higher room so as not to hear the howl of the fans of the air conditioning system. We were given a room on the seventh floor by default, so the problem resolved itself. Our room (734) overlooked the inside (the hotel is built in the form of a square with an internal non-residential "courtyard"). So we saw the windows of other rooms. View of the street, of course, nicer, but it was quiet. The room is neat. Refrigerator (however, it froze so-so), air conditioning, a safe, a good bed with a good mattress, a large drawer and a closet, however, for some reason open, without doors, a table, a large mirror. Kettle, tea, coffee, sugar. Even the window opened. Vodicka 0.5 l. was only the first day. But we, according to the experience of the first trip, bought ourselves drinking water ourselves. The bathroom was also normal, everything was present, everything worked. For appearance, see photos. Now, about life in the hotel… We were settled, as I said, right away. They took a tourist tax, I think 60 drhs. (my wife was checking out while I was “guarding” the luggage). They showed me the number, told me… And then there was the only incomprehensible annoying moment… going down to the reception, I asked the Russian-speaking girl for an ironing board and an iron. After 20 minutes, did it again, then again. She sent a request to someone on the phone, but no one tried to fulfill this request. We waited almost two hours. And so I wanted to quickly go to the beautiful streets of Dubai. As a result, I, angry at such an attitude, caught the attendants in the corridor and in my broken English asked for the same thing. Two minutes later he brought us everything indicated. And in general, this guy was pleased. He generally left a good impression of himself. He cleaned our room every day, efficiently, cleanly. And the board and the iron brought afterwards immediately, after the request. He greeted and smiled at the meeting. Well done! Nutrition. The dining room is large. There were always places, there were no problems with food either. Breakfast was something, but somewhat monotonous. Here's the baked goods. Having tried a stale croissant for the first time, we never tried pastries again. By the way, there was a supermarket near the hotel. Strange (for some reason without price tags) and not very big. But in the Al Karama metro area there was a large supermarket called Spinays. We bought food and drinks there. The hotel also has Indian and Chinese restaurants and a sports bar. We didn't go there, but I'll tell you anyway. . There was a real party in the sports bar in the evening. Alcohol, excitement, hookah, etc. The Chinese restaurant helped us out upon departure, but more on that later... The pool, like all similar hotels, is on the roof. Quite good. Even the length is excellent. You can even swim. There are few sun loungers, but it was enough to lie down both times. There is a spa and a gym. They were not in them, I will not say anything since. All in all, a decent three. We were satisfied with the location, the hotel and the service. Our flight was late in the evening. And the eviction takes place during the day. We voiced our problem at the reception to a Russian-speaking young man (lucky, our English is very bad) and he extended our room until 18.00 for free. After that, we placed the suitcases in the storage room until a full check-out. We were afraid to go somewhere far. So we hung out at the hotel. We said goodbye to acquaintances from Kazakhstan, with a girl selling excursions from the hotel. And as a result, we had lunch (or already had dinner) in a Chinese restaurant. Tasty. So I recommend you go try it. Beach. We were taken to Al Mamzar beach. In the morning from 7.00 to 9.00 every half an hour the bus took away there, and from 12.00 to 14.00. 00 bus took away from there. True, the real schedule was floating, but still... You can also take a taxi. Priced at 15 AED. Drive 20 minutes. The beach is paid. 5 drh. Sun loungers, umbrellas for a fee. There are showers, toilets and changing rooms. You can buy water and juices. There is a small park on the beach. The beach is good. Clean sand, the entrance is good, gently sloping, there is no garbage. There are breakwaters, so there were no strong waves. The beauty. The vodka was lovely. By the way, our tour operator from Natalie-tours… Disgusting job. We didn't see him. His place has always been empty. Yes, and at prices nifiga they had no budget. As a result, we bought an excursion to the Ferrari Park from a girl from the hotel (I forgot her name, I'm afraid to make a mistake). And they didn't fail. She threw off the price for us a little, it turned out $ 100 per person. , and by the time they had the most (we were from 12.00 until closing at 19.00). Enough in abundance. I recommend. We were in Ferrari on Thursday. There were no people. I would say it was empty. No lines, no pressure. This fact surprised even the seller of the tour. She said we were lucky. Personally, I have tried everything. . The most impressive, of course, is the Ross Formula, the fastest roller coaster (240 km/h), dare, they are worth it (before that it is better not to eat). I also highly recommend the Ferrari car simulator. The only ones that you need to pay extra there (100 AED for 10 minutes), but this is an explosion of emotions. It was like driving a Ferrari in real life. Buy tickets for Burj Khalifa at the Dubai Mall. Something around 190 AED. per person It was. I also recommend it. The whole world is at your feet. 124th floor at an altitude of 450 m (tickets for the 148th floor have not yet been sold). I advise you to take either at sunset or at night. During the day, the view is not so interesting, and often everything is covered with haze and dust. We managed to try a lot of the rest on the first trip. In general, I recommend the hotel.
