Were in this hotel in April 2015 Briefly - the hotel met all expectations. If you do not plan to spend the whole day in your room, but come in the evening, spend the night and leave in the morning for the beach, shopping, excursions or business - this is a good choice. There are a couple of nuances that may be useful to you when settling and living, namely:

- The hotel charges a fee of AED 10 per night, which must be paid upon check-in.
- if your room faces the street (Kuwait Street), then you are guaranteed to be woken up in the morning by the singing of a mullah from a nearby mosque. Therefore, I recommend a room that looks into the courtyard. We lived in room 792, we couldn't hear anything.
- Parking under the hotel for residents is free. So if you rent a car - it's very convenient.
- free bus to the beach - takes you to Al Mamzar beach. In principle, the beach is good, clean, with toilets, showers, and changing places. You can't get to the beach without going through the park.

Entrance to the park is paid (5 dirhams). I remind you that there are several beaches in Dubai. We really liked the beach at the Marina, it's free. The only downside is that it's a long way to go. There is also Jumeirah Beach (it is closer) and it is open, despite the fact that the park is being renovated nearby.
- you can walk to the metro for 15-20 minutes, but in the heat of 40+, you want to do this less and less every day. In the last couple of days we took a taxi from the hotel. I recommend not a Lexus, but an ordinary one, with multi-colored roofs. You can catch him near the hotel or just go outside and "catch". To Dubai Mall, the average trip was about 20 dirhams.
- within walking distance from the hotel in the direction of the metro station "ADCB" (or "Al Karama") there is a relatively good shopping center "Centrepoint", where you can get to a good promotion and buy good things for humane money. Generally speaking, shopping in Dubai recently is not the same as it was at least a couple of years ago. Everything has become very expensive.
Prices for "branded" things that are sold in shopping centers in Kyiv - in Dubai turned out to be 10-20 percent more expensive. So I can reassure those who want to buy Dior or Armani "for cheap" - there will be no balloons))
But there are also pluses. In connection with the crisis in Ukraine and Russia, fur merchants in Nasser Square (now Banyas Square) make very serious price concessions. So if your trip is combined with the purchase of a fur coat, this may partially cover the costs of the tour; )
