Now it was time to leave your review about a trip to the country of the United Arab Emirates and the Citymax Bur Dubai hotel.
I'll try to be objective. I must say right away that there is something to compare with, I vacationed in Europe, the Dominican Republic, well, not to mention Egypt.
Rested with my husband from 07.09 to 16.09. Operator Labyrinth, host Al Khalidiya, carrier Air Arabia (economy class airlines). I will try to talk about what may be useful in the future to other tourists. About everything in order.

The flight went without incident. Good airline, lunch included. The food is quite tasty, there is only one Russian-speaking steward on board, but this did not cause any problems. We landed at the Sharjah airport, after reading a lot about the airport of this emirate, we wondered if there was Duty Free on arrival with alcohol. I will dispel all doubts and questions. There is duty free at Sharjah airport and there is alcohol in it, you just need to enter it before scanning the retina and passport control. Since after all the above procedures, there is Dutik, but there is no alcohol in it anymore.
The host side of Al Khalidiya worked very well. They paid for a group transfer, they thought there would be a bus in which they would not yet take everyone to Sharjah hotels. We will not be taken to Dubai. Nothing like that, they met, put them in a minibus, and 2 more girls were in it, respectively, they brought them and immediately us.
We were placed at the hotel pretty quickly too. There was a Russian-speaking girl at the reception, unfortunately I don’t remember her name, but she was pleasant. In the future, they turned to her, she always helped without any problems. But the second one was extremely unpleasant especially. They gave me a room on the first floor, they said if it's noisy, they'll come up tomorrow and change it. But we did not notice the noise, apparently we were very tired during the day and there was a desire only to take a horizontal position.
I'll start with the hotel.
Rooms.
Very small. There was no place to turn around. The bath is generally a separate issue, everything has not been thought out so much in it, it's a nightmare. The shower is attached to the wall, so you need to adapt to it and to the stream. Water splashes on the floor, because there is not even any protective film. Accordingly, after taking a shower, there is a flood on the floor. But there are pluses: the room was cleaned every day, the bed was changed every 3 days. Always replenished cafe, cream and tea. Towels were always left clean and fresh, even if we took one to the beach.
We took only breakfast, so I can only speak about them. Well, to be honest, even for 3 stars they could do more diverse ones. The range, in principle, has not changed: 2 types of cheese, coffee, tea, juices, croissants, sausage (not very attractive), sausages, scrambled eggs and sometimes fried potatoes. In general, that's all. For 10 days you can crow from such food.
Beach.

We went the first 2 days on a hotel bus, but the people are not so cultured, they don’t even know what a queue is. They will climb like catechumens. Then we went by taxi around 8 am and left at 12, because the weather was very hot. We always took a large umbrella - 10 dirhams, without it it is unbearable. Air temperature 45 and water 35, you go into the water and no cooling. The bay itself is very beautiful, clean beautiful water, very salty, it is impossible to drown. I was very pleased that the zone of buoys is far enough away, you can swim in plenty. The beach itself is clean. There were of course cigarette butts, but not many. Speaking of taxis, from the hotel to the beach from 11 to 12 dirhams. Back a little more expensive, about 18, but we did it easier. We crossed to the other side of the main road, and a taxi from there was already about 13 dirhams. But again, it all depends on traffic jams and traffic lights.
Now I will try to tell where we went and what we saw.
We took excursions from Arabian Knights, found bodies on the Internet, called from the reception, ordered. Picked up on time and paid on the spot.
Safari - well, I really liked it, a lot of adrenaline, a good show and dinner. First, we rode jeeps in the desert, half the way I drove with my eyes closed from fear, there was a desire to get out and go on foot, but I overcame myself))). Then they brought me to the village, there was a small show in the open air: the girl very beautifully danced the belly dance, the dance with the saber, then the dance in the skirts of the man, very exciting. You could smoke a hookah for free, draw a tattoo. And a wonderful dinner. We returned to the hotel at 10 pm.
Indian Ocean - honestly expected more. The guide Tatyana told us very interestingly about the customs of the country and the life of the people. Along the way, we took a lot of beautiful photos, brought fruits and carpets to the market. We were brought to the hotel where we spent 4 hours. First we were fed in a restaurant for lunch. The selection is good and everything is delicious. True, drinks were paid, everything except ordinary water. The beach is nice, sunbeds, umbrellas and towels are all free. The water was cool, it was nice to freshen up. Gave free diving masks. We didn’t see anything surprising, but nevertheless it was interesting for a change. Time flew by quickly. When we left, I already pretty much wanted to have a bite to eat, this is a minus of the excursion, they could organize some sandwiches, even if they would pay extra dollars for 5 for the tour. But still liked it.
We ourselves went to the Dubai Mall, climbed the Burj Khalifa, the Ibn Batut shopping center, Nasser Square (for a fur coat), Madinat Jumeirah (Dubai Venice), Emirates Mall. Not far from the hotel we went to the market of gold and fabrics, went down to the embankment, where they were transported in boats to Nasser Square.

I'll tell you everything briefly.
Dubai Mall. Big mall. In terms of purchases, it resembles the European and Vegas shopping centers in Moscow. Prices for goods are the same as in Moscow, and even more expensive. A very beautiful show of dancing fountains, you can't argue with that, it's breathtaking. An aquarium with fish and sharks, and of course the ascent to the Burj Khalifa. As for the ascent, everything is very well thought out, there are no crowds and queues, everyone calmly walks in a small stream, the elevator ride is impressive - in a matter of seconds there are already 124 floors. Tickets were bought in advance for 100 dirhams. Having gone to the Mall once, seeing all the beauty, there is nothing more to do there, in my opinion.
Shopping center Ibn Batut. Located at the metro station of the same name. Small, you can get around it in 1.5-2 hours. It consists of blocks, each block is a separate country of Syria, India, Egypt and so on. Prices are exactly the same as in all other Malls. There are no discounts, only in Pierre Cardin it was 70%, but I can’t say whether it’s original or not. It's so clean to take a photo, it's not even bad.
Nasser square. We went there exclusively for a fur coat, along the way we bought various souvenirs and gifts (Gift Village store). Who cares, with regards to fur coats, I'll tell you. Before the trip, I read a lot of reviews, advice and, armed with knowledge, went to choose. I decided for myself that I would go to those shops that people wrote about. We immediately went to the Abrazh center, went to about 10 stores, the price tags of all with a very decent difference, tried to understand what was the matter, but did not understand. Black Lama could be offered for both 2600 and 3500 dollars, but we understand that Black Lama cannot cost less than 3000 dollars. As a result, we bought room 404 MANAKAS on the 4th floor - a German company, they sew in Greece. There is a Greek, the owner's son sells with a Russian woman. They have a large selection, by the way, there are very few Black Llama. They took an ordinary mink, a black undyed cross-section, just above the knees, a stand-up collar, a 7/8 sleeve with a leather belt under the chest. We came to them several times, my husband is a lover of bargaining, in the end they gave it to us for 2000 dollars. Guarantee for skins does not lie 6 or 8 years. I did all the manipulations with her and pulled the fur, and shook it and the lining was torn off for me, everything seems to be fine. Let's see how long and how long it lasts.

Madinat Jumeirah. Emirates Mall metro station. We went half way and caught a taxi, in the end we gave 10 dirhams for 500 meters. Therefore, if the weather permits, it is better to walk, I think about 15 minutes to go, or a taxi immediately after leaving the metro. Madinat Jumeirah, something like the water of Dubai Venice with canals, you can ride boats along the canals, but we went on foot, beautiful photos, inside there are small shops with various gifts, souvenirs, fabrics, scarves, gold and more. I recommend to go there for a walk. After Madinat, the Jumeirahs went to the Emirates Mall, where Sky Dubai is located, a snowy slope - where you can ride. This Mall, like no other, has many stores with appliances, but the price turned out to be more expensive than in Moscow. Everything else is the same as in Dubai Mall.
Almost always traveled by subway plus taxi.
Where to eat outside the hotel.
Cafe "Paul" - not far from the hotel in the Burjuman shopping center on the 1st floor. Lunch for 2: hot dish (casserole with chicken, mushrooms, potatoes and cheese) + salad (salad mix, potatoes, huge shrimp, tomatoes) + tea pot = 100 dirhams. The portions are very large.
On Nasser. We dined at the Uzbek restaurant, but I would call it a cafe. In the Abrazh center, get off the escalator (I don’t remember the floor, but it’s impossible to make a mistake, it’s one floor with cafes) and there are several tables at once, it doesn’t look pretty, but it’s very tasty. Full lunch for 2 with hot, barbecue and drinks 85 dirhams with tips.
Dubai Mall. There are a lot of different places to eat. We chose a restaurant on the 1st floor, where there was a menu in Russian. The price tag is certainly higher than in the above establishments. A full dinner for two cost 215 dirhams.
We took Chinese cuisine in the Mall, a portion with rice, meat, skewers on skewers and Pepsi 40 dirhams, the two of us ate very much.
And of course, there are no problems with food. But next to the hotel, closer than 20-30 minutes walk you will not find anything.
Not far from the hotel there is a SPINES supermarket where you can buy snacks and ready meals.
Their metro is interesting, without a driver. But if you eat, for example, in the Dubai Mall, then I advise you to take a taxi or bus from the hotel. Leaves at 16:00 and 16:30. A taxi will cost about 24 dirhams, a metro 13 for two, but you don’t need to walk from the hotel to the metro for 20 minutes and from the metro to the Mall itself for another 15-20 minutes.

In general, the rest was not bad. If the weather was not yet so hot, it would be even better. The UAE is a country where everyone needs to visit once in a lifetime. But I probably wouldn’t go there anymore, and if I did, then it would be more decent to a beach hotel. I also want to note that we rested on a budget enough, we thought we would spend much more.
It seems like I haven't forgotten anything. If you have questions, ask, I will be happy to answer.
