My husband and I were in "Comfort - in" this winter 09.01. 10-18.01. 10.
Nice clean trio. Great location. To the metro 5 minutes walk from the hotel to the right and across the pedestrian bridge. The metro is very beautiful, clean and mega modern. In addition, it is twice cheaper than a taxi, especially if you travel several times a day. If not for the metro, we would not have seen half of everything that is interesting. The only drawback of the metro is the work schedule from 7 am to 10 pm, if you are late, you can get there by universal travel bus or taxi.
Now about the hotel. Our room was standard. Bed, dressing table, two chairs with a table, wardrobe, TV, refrigerator. There is no balcony. There is only a window. We lived on the 7th floor, but the noise from the pool did not bother us (it buzzes a little). We arrived late and overwhelmed with impressions fell asleep instantly.
Plumbing is ok. Cleaning daily. The boy took large towels with him to the beach - the cleaner changed them for us without any problems. Left 1.2 derhams. If you put up a "Do Not Disturb" sign, they won't.

On the terrace of the mall you can sit in a cafe and enjoy coffee and fountains. In the Dubai Mall itself there is a huge and very beautiful aquarium with a tunnel and a zoo. Entrance there costs 50 DRM/person. The impressions are the most positive, I advise you to go.
Naturally, we did not disregard shopping. Shopping was done at the Dubai Mall and the Mall of the Emirates. The notorious Nasser Square was visited once, but they did not shop there. We visited the Gold Market and the Spice Market. We bought a lot of spices and are satisfied with the quality. I especially liked the Arabic masala tea. Sailing on dhow boats across the bay costs 1drm/person. On the opposite side of the embankment there is a pretty restaurant with a summer terrace over the water.
There is a small shop next to the hotel. There you can buy food, water, juices, all sorts of little things forgotten at home (scissors, nail file, etc. ) as well as cosmetics. The prices are normal, we compared with the grocery store in the mall, the prices are not much different.
