Rested in Dubai with my husband in mid-March. There were only 2 options for which hotel to go to - Emirates Grand Hotel by Iberotel 4 * and Golden Tulip Al Barsha 4 *, but since there was no convenient departure for the first option, we agreed to Golden Tulip.

The hotel has a convenient location - 5 minutes walk to the metro and 15 minutes to the Mall of the Emirates.

We were greeted with cold juice, settled an hour earlier and were given a room of a slightly better category than was paid for. Upon check-in, the deposit is $100 for 2. We did not buy anything at the hotel, so when we left, they were returned to us with the same banknotes.

The room was good, normal size, clean, no foreign smells. There is a mini bar (empty - and it even pleased, because there was where to put your products). There is a kettle, cups, tea, coffee, sugar, water glasses, water itself (free of charge as you drink 500 ml bottles per person per day), there were 1 slippers (we didn’t ask for 2), we were also surprised by branded napkins boxes in the bathroom and in the room, cosmetics for some reason, like slippers, only for 1 person.
There are scales, 2 pillows for each.

In principle, everything we needed was and we were satisfied with almost everything, except for cleaning. She wasn't there at all. The maid only took away the garbage, added cosmetics and water, changed towels. The table with crumbs and sand (which I left on purpose) was never wiped by anyone, about vacuuming or wiping the floor in the bathroom is out of the question. Tips were left, but the maid did not pick them up.

Considering that we were in the room only at night, and then for 6-8 hours maximum, many errors were not paid attention at all. But the reviews below under the title "Horrible Hotel" and "Quiet Horror" - this is a specific drive. For adequate people should understand that for such money they cannot count on luxury with absolute comfort and bombing food. We came across in the elevator and corridors with Russians from whom you could only hear: "Here, the bus to the beach is only once a day, and then only for 3 hours !!! ", "There are no bathrobes!
No toothbrushes! We barely asked for water! ". Well, what kind of bathrobes and toothbrushes are there in a hotel with incomplete 4 stars?

Beach. Sea. The hotel bus takes you every day at 9:30 and back at 13:00. Beach - Jumeirah public beach - the one near the Sail. The beach is big, the water is clean, beauty! ! ! There is no shade, no sunbeds and umbrellas, admission is free, there are no services, there are no changing rooms either, only dirty toilets. Rescuers are driven out of the water as soon as the sun begins to set and at the slightest restlessness of the sea. A little stormy - they will not let you go further than chest.

Breakfasts. Good, albeit monotonous. We always ate. I liked the pastries, delicious croissants and muffins (4-6 types), there are toasts, jams, honey, cereals with milk, yogurts, pancakes, sausage cheese, sausages, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, potatoes, rice, spaghetti, vegetables, fruits. From drinks - tea, coffee, water, 2 types of juices. Maybe the assortment is small, but we were always full.

Location. It seemed perfect to me.
I was in Dubai for the 1st time, and I had a clear plan for exploring the city. From the hotel it was convenient to get to any place, because the metro (the main mode of transport) was close. Easy access to Burj Khalifa, Dubai Marina, Miracle Garden, Global Village, Parusa, Atlantis, etc.

Distances from the hotel, how to get there.
The beach near the Parus - hotel delivery at 9:30 and at 13:00, from the Mall by city bus (81, fare 3-5 dirhams), walking about 4.5 km (40-50 min).
Dubai Marina. 2 stops metro = 3 dirhams
Atlantis. 1 stop metro, then monorail to the hotel. Or walk to the monorail (4-5 km), approx. hours of walking.
Burj Khalifa. 5 stop metro. OK. 13 km. Taxi = 40 dirhams
Miracle Garden. From the Mall by bus approx 30 min (5 dirhams)
Global Village. From m. Union by bus 103 ok 40 min (10 dirhams)

Workers. A Ukrainian girl works at the reception. If in English not boom-boom - she is the solution to all your questions. In general, all the workers are not very friendly, they are like slaves on plantations. But when treated normally, they are quite polite.
