Good afternoon! Just (01/21/2009) returned from the United Arab Emirates and now I want to share my impressions about the hotels and the city as a whole.
Pegas company acted as our tour operator from the Ukrainian side. We use the services of this tour operator for the second time. And for the second time we are very satisfied!
We flew on a UIA charter (Kyiv - Duba - Kyiv) and were generally pleasantly surprised. The plane was in good condition, the food was relatively good.
Just want to draw your attention to the airport in Dubai, it is very large! It is very easy to get lost, which we basically did. We got to another terminal and wandered around the airport for another 2 hours))
The meeting party was the Desert Adventures company. There are no comments in their direction. Everything is on time!
We decided to stay at the HILTON DUBAI JUMEIRAH hotel. Before the trip, I read a lot of reviews about the hotel and panicked at the end! In vain! A good solid five!

Located on the very coast of JUMEIRAH. Own beach. The construction around the hotel is basically completed. The only thing is that, on the right side, 250 meters away, they are destroying the old hotel and, apparently, they will build a new one. But this did not bother us at all.
Upon check-in, they took a deposit in the amount of $ 500, upon check-out it was only returned, though, already in local "tugriks" (the exchange rate is approximately $ 1-3.60 derhams).
I advise you to take food - breakfast, because. there are a lot of restaurants on JUMEIRAH for every taste. Prices are much lower than we expected. On average, lunch / dinner for two goes from 30 to 60 dollars (this is without alcohol).
Breakfast in hotels - classic - 5-6 types of cheese, the same amount of sausages, 2 sausages and bacon, all sorts of different omelettes, pancakes, a lot of delicious pastries, vegetables and fruits. Tea, coffee, juices and orange juice. In general, for 6 days not it came and it's always fresh.
They clean the room once a day, they take tips only in dollars, how many dirhams they didn’t leave - they never took))
Taxi. Peach-colored Toyota Camry with a meter. At the start, 3 dirhams + mileage. Lexuses also stop, they are without chips, but also with meters. They have 7 dirhams at the start and mileage is more expensive. h. I advise you to give as much as they ask, without change.
Excursions. We went on a Safari - we didn't like it. Don't waste your money. Compared to the Egyptian one, there's nothing to see.
We were satisfied with the Wild Wodi water park. Good slides. But I don’t advise climbing the highest one - they scratched their entire back, they got water wherever possible ((
Dinner on the Arabian Boat. The boat itself is in the style of Sinbad the Sailor, a good buffet. But there is nothing to look at from the sides.
Excursion to Oman. I liked it very much. Special thanks to our guide Larisa - a very pleasant, cheerful and smart woman! If all the guides were like her, the life of tourists would be much more interesting))
We went there and back by minibus. We made 2 stops - a carpet market and a fruit market. I can’t say anything about carpets, but the fruits are delicious and inexpensive))

Then we were transferred to a small boat. We were rolled around the bay. There was an opportunity to swim in the Indian Ocean. Then there was fishing, we caught quite a lot of barracudas - very exciting))
From the malls we visited the Mall of the Emirates. A taxi from the hotel costs 22-25 dirhams. The shopping complex is very large. Only branded stores are on the second floor. Prices are different.
Inside is Ski Dubai. Glacier Park, in which there are ski slopes, snowboard jumps, and sledding hills. Super! We had a lot of fun!
In general, they were satisfied with the trip. There are no exotic things, there are absolutely unimaginable skyscrapers, chic shops and a lot of comfort.
