We chose a budget city hotel, because we went specifically to a shopping festival.
We booked a transfer when booking. We were met by a black Mercedes.
We arrived at the hotel by 23:00. They settled into the room immediately. They don't take a deposit, they don't take passports as collateral.
The room was given on the 3rd floor. Refuse. Very noisy, because you can hear the music from the restaurant on the 1st. Mostly Arabs, Hindus and others live on the floor. Very noisy people.
The next day we changed the room to the 5th floor. Mostly Russians settle here, the music is almost inaudible, you can live.
The room went without a balcony, although the hotel has several rooms with balconies. Windows don't open.
For us smokers it was very bad. We smoked in the room together and there was nothing to breathe at all.

There is no kettle in the room. Free water is not provided. On request, they can free the mini-bar and you will have at your disposal a small refrigerator. There is a hair dryer, a free safe in the room.
TVs on the 3rd floor are ordinary, on the 5th - LCD. Bathrobes, slippers and scales in the bathroom (as someone wrote in the reviews_ - no.
The hotel itself is small, average in all respects. The staff does not speak Russian, but understands perfectly "on the fingers. " At the reception in one of the shifts there is only one MCH who speaks a little Russian. And also in the restaurant a girl celebrating dinner.

The service is very unobtrusive, clean superficially, mostly in the bathroom. Toiletries are regularly reported: gel, shampoo, body lotion, soap, hats, toilet paper. Towels are changed occasionally, bedding for 9 nights - never. But if you ask, they will change it without any problems.
Quite responsive to requests. We asked for an extra duvet and duvet cover - they immediately brought it without question.
They took food HB. We are unpretentious about food, but even for us it is a very poor diet. The range of breakfasts and lunches never changes.
The choice is more than small, no fruit. We still went to breakfast, but after two attempts we gave up lunch and ate in the city. I recommend taking breakfast only.

You can have a good meal in the Havana cafe chain (they are in such malls as: Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Mall, BurJuman, Mirdiff City Center). In addition to the menu, the cafe offers set meals for 50 derhams per person ($27 for two). Very decent food, large portions, excellent quality, no worse than in Wafi (but there lunch for 2 cost us 300 derhams - $ 83)
We ate in Havana 5 times and the menu was never repeated. There was grilled fish, and chicken chops, and seafood, and stew. First, a variety of puree soups. Hot buns, butter. Tea, coffee with or without cream, to choose from. Dessert to choose from - delicious cakes and pastries. They didn’t have enough strength to eat them, they asked to take them with them, they finished eating in the evening in the room instead of dinner))).

Right next to the hotel there are 2 supermarkets where you can buy groceries, water, juices. Opposite there is a street eatery where I make shawarma.
I highly recommend getting fresh juices from them. This is something, 1 liter - 24 derhams = $6.6. But the juice is worth the money, very tasty.

The location of the hotel is good - the city center, 200 meters from the All Rigga metro station - a huge plus. It is very convenient to get to shopping centers: Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Mall, BurJuman. One metro stop to Deira City Centre. You can also walk, about 20 minutes. There is also a free bus from the hotel daily to this center at 16-30 there and back at 20-00.
Fur coat centers "Planet of Fur" and "World of Fur" are within walking distance.
Close to Gold Souk, 10 minutes by taxi, cost 15 derhams = $4.5.
About the same time and money to Dubai Creek Side Park, as well as to Nesser Square.
