It so happened that we booked this hotel, and then read the reviews. Naturally, if it were the other way around, she would run without looking. But I had a somewhat non-standard situation, I went to live in my brother's apartment on GBR, and in order to get a visa, I had to book any hotel. It turned out to be Shalimar. I couldn't meet my brother, I had to spend a day at the hotel. His biggest problem is he's just mega-noisy. Everything is buzzing there - refrigerator, air conditioner, street, ventilation. If the neighbors turn on the air conditioner, the entire wall vibrates. Airplanes take off every two minutes (by the way, those who have topographical cretinism, and getting lost in that area just spit, this has become a good guide - where the Emirates is gaining altitude, there is a hotel). At 5 am, the mujin (mosque around the corner) starts yelling. From the window view of the construction site. The building itself has already been built, but finishing work is underway - there are all sorts of perforators and other noisy tools. Sleep is unrealistic. For breakfast, 4 slices of toast, a little butter and jam, and scrambled eggs. Choice of coffee or tea. Bring ready. I looked into the kitchen - upon arrival it turned out that the sockets had 3 plugs, the boiler could not be plugged in, I went for boiling water. Apart from eggs and packets of butter and jam, nothing else, I suspect that this is 1 breakfast for all time. Of the pluses - the room has a good refrigerator, it freezes regularly, not Turkish-Egyptian minibars, in which the temperature is slightly lower than the air temperature. The second plus is a cheap area for both food and shopping. Since after I ended up in an elite GBI-AR for two weeks on the seashore overlooking the Palm Jumeirah, there is something to compare.
