Celebrated New Year with my wife in the Emirates. We took a ticket on December 20, in full confidence that there were no more places and we would celebrate the holiday at home, but a miracle, we were sent on the right dates from December 27 to January 2, of course we had little rest, but because of work we had to return earlier.
The flight was from St. Petersburg to Emirates, flew very comfortably, for this special thanks to our travel agency, which organized for us the most comfortable seats on the plane with huge legroom.
Upon arrival, we quickly received our luggage and we were immediately met, put together in a car and taken to the hotel.
Rixos the palm Dubai hotel, they made us a chic room of impressive size on the 20th floor, a panoramic view of the ocean. The hotel is new, literally just opened, it seems at the end of summer 2017. And by the way, despite the fact that the hotel is new, it already has a very green area, which is undoubtedly another plus.

The food is excellent, there are several types of meat, fish, and everything is in front of you in a raw form, you choose any product you like and everything will be cooked in front of your eyes, rolls, sashimi, very decent fruits, not green as they serve in many hotels, seafood, ice cream, but especially desserts, we ate with my wife for two, if not for four, we have a sweet tooth, we were ready to eat only these works of art, we just couldn’t tear ourselves away from them!
I don’t know why many people write about bad breakfasts, nothing like that, freshly squeezed juices, wonderful coffee (drinks are brought to you by waiters), many types of cereals, scrambled eggs with any toppings are cooked in front of you, yogurts like from a home farm, fruits, jamon, cheeses, sweets, champagne, snacks, but there was a lot of everything and for every taste! I don’t know, maybe people are used to eating black caviar for breakfast, so this is for you in Burj Al Arab, and then I doubt that they will serve it for free.
The connoisseur of exclusive design will really like the hotel, there is something to admire, I think the decoration of the hotel was made to order, we admired the magnificent interior every day.
The beach is magnificent, located right on the shore, there were never any problems with sunbeds, although the hotel was quite busy.
Although we rested during the New Year period, and our 5th Avenue travel agency warned about winds and not the most successful weather conditions, we don’t complain about the weather, and we went swimming and sunbathing, and the New Year was celebrated chic, we even think to repeat the voyage for the May holidays, days 10 to fully relax.
