I wanted to go to the sea, the sun in winter.....And so we decided on the Emirates, but not Dubai or Abu Dhabi, but the coast of the Indian Ocean, the Gulf of Oman. According to the reviews, I liked the Sandy Beach 3 * hotel, but it was all in the "foot", and I really wanted to "snorkel"....The next one was Oceanic Khorfakkan Resort & Spa 4 *. The underwater world (according to reviews) is not so rich, but everything else is much better. And here we are in Oceanic.
A small but very cozy town of Korfakkan. There are places to walk in the evening. Huge promenade, shops, park, port, rental and entertainment.
I fell in love with this country, although I was a little afraid..... Arabs, many prohibitions....

It all started during the transfer. This has not happened in any country. The bus decided to make a technical stop and drove to a gas station. I read about excellent freshly squeezed juices at gas stations and went to drink our favorite pomegranate juice. Ordered, another woman with a child ordered water. Of the money - only dollars, but they don’t have change and in general, they don’t take dollars... What they said, I didn’t understand, only when they gave us our juice, it turned out that our driver had already paid for all of us. Although we had dirhams and I was not used to an unknown man paying for me... I gave him as much as I could. And the husband says that everyone here is rich, it is not difficult for them to pay for us... The rich are not always kind... This incident struck me.
I really liked the hotel. Everywhere there is Russian-speaking staff: in the restaurant, and in the Spa, and on the beach, and at the reception. There are only Russians around. A lot of children. The room took the most standard. View of mountains, park and mosque. The windows do not open, there are no balconies, but the condo works fine. Towels, bathrobes (on request), shampoos, tea-coffee, kettle, water. Everything is there and constantly updated. All announcements and everywhere are in Russian! ! Great. The room has a safe, refrigerator, scales, hair dryer. Very polite and helpful staff. No tips. Free sauna. Massage discounts 50%. We took full board. everything is great and water for lunch and dinner is served instantly. In the evening at dinner, two girls sing live.
The sea is not as warm as I would like, but the air is very comfortable - +28. Water in the sea +27, in the pool +29. So they write, but it feels less like it.
It is very warm in the evening. No sweatshirts needed. The sky is always clear, the sun is completely calm, which is very good for snorkeling, but the sandy beach and the water are cloudy. But fish, cucumbers, hedgehogs and turtles. Everything is! ! I didn’t see cuttlefish, but my husband did. There was a period - fuel oil drove. There was a moment of a bunch of small biting jellyfish, but still I'm delighted. I want to go there again! Great replacement for Egypt!
They took only one excursion - to Oman. Also for snorkeling. Large excellent double-deck boat. Very clean and polite staff. Everywhere clean, carpets everywhere. We drank and ate the whole tour. The sea is calm. The border was crossed purely sombolicheski. Lunch on the boat, on carpets. The price includes riding on a cheesecake, on a banana, and, of course, snorkeling. Didn't see anything new. The water is muddy. But there are rays and stars. There are turtles too. Then everyone fished in the sea from a boat. Barracuda pecked at everyone!

The hotel has, in my opinion, 5 Russian channels. Flat TV.
On the way back to the airport we saw the desert, dunes, camels.
