After re-reading the same reviews later, I was surprised how I had not realized this before. And everyone we met, from the newly arrived vacationers, unanimously said that they had read positive reviews, but the reality was far from reality. And in order to understand where you are going, I will describe the hotel and the rest in it in sufficient detail. In principle, we, like everyone else, also read reviews about the hotel, a lot confused us, but decided that if there were so many positive reviews, maybe not everything is so scary, and decided to take a chance.
We experienced the first shock upon arrival. They gave us a room on the 10th floor, the room turned out to be for smokers, it smelled of tobacco all over, and it was also very dirty, with some kind of small window through which even the light did not penetrate well, before it was dirty. I must say right away that when buying a ticket, we asked to specify our wish in choosing a room with a view of the pool. Yeah, we dreamed, no one even pays attention to it, so it's useless to ask about it. In short, we immediately returned to the reception with a request to change the room. We were offered another room, but it was no better, besides, the refrigerator and wi-fi did not work there, we had to return again. Then one of the employees was sent with us, who opened rooms for us and gave us a choice. Making sure that all the rooms are the same, we still settled on one of them. The hotel is really located in the industrial zone and we experienced the second shock at night, it was impossible to sleep, there was no soundproofing in the room at all, and we either listened to the work of loaders and the arrival of trucks, or the music from the club, which was located below. In addition to everything, and I don’t understand it at all, music was playing in the corridor outside the door. For whom she played, who would tell me? But it was also heard in the room. So if, after my review, you still decide to go, and you are not lucky enough to settle in a room overlooking the pool, take earplugs with you. Now about the cleaning of the rooms, they cleaned the room every day, I can’t say that it was very good, but we didn’t pay attention to it. True, two days before departure, towels were not brought to the room, we had to contact the reception, after which they brought us just beach towels, and on the last day they did not clean up at all. Also, keep in mind that there is not a single Russian-speaking employee at the reception, they all quit a long time ago, they speak only English there, only one waiter from the restaurant speaks Russian a little, sometimes he is at the reception. And when our compatriots come to solve some issues, they just smile at them and do nothing, supposedly they don’t understand, and our people leave with nothing.
Then there was a meeting with the guide. We rested from the travel company Coral. The meeting was formal, they didn’t really tell anything there, the goal was only one to sell excursions. Well, we took an excursion to Abu Dhabi, the price is $ 50 per person, departure from the hotel at 13.50, actually at 14.00. There are no free sunbeds, on the first day we had to sunbathe on the sand. Therefore, in the future, you will again have to run away from the bus in order to find a free sunbed as quickly as possible. The fact is that, as we understand, sun loungers with towels can stand for weeks, no one cleans them. At the reception you have to get a card to get towels, and we didn’t fully understand the meaning of these cards, because. whether you hand over the towel or not, no one cares. Animation on the beach, this is just the name, it is practically non-existent, although there are animators. Once you will be offered to play water polo, darts and exercises in the pool, and that’s all, we didn’t observe any other movements. The sea was very warm, but not very clean, especially at low tide. Any garbage remained on the shore in the form of bags, corks, bottles, etc. And in the place where the sea had recently been, a muddy bottom with algae was exposed, which was not very pleasant. There are a lot of cigarette butts on the sand, the result of the rest of the Russians, although the staff put ashtrays and regularly cleaned the beach.
Nutrition. There were no complaints here, everything was very tasty and varied. We had breakfast and dinner. Breakfasts are standard. For dinner there was a very large selection of various dishes and very tasty desserts. Of the drinks, at first there was only water for free, then they began to give juices.
Now I want to address my compatriots who are going on vacation. Gentlemen, learn to behave decently in a foreign country, do not disgrace Russia. Do not rush into the restaurant as if there was the last piece left, pushing everyone on the run. Do not crowd at the entrance, it is indecent. And then the poor waiters, opening the door to the restaurant, do not have time to jump aside. Learn to use cutlery, and do not saw with a fork a piece of meat with a creak on a plate for the whole restaurant. Put food on the plate in small portions, stop when you are already full. Do not take several queues, there is enough food for everyone. Unfortunately, we observed all this during one of the races. At first there were normal vacationers, then they brought a whole horde, I don’t know from which village, and all this shame began. The waiters looked at all this with a smirk, and we were just ashamed of our compatriots. In addition, wine glasses were immediately removed from the restaurant and disposable cups were placed for juice, and dessert was served in huge trays, although before that they were served in small cups, beautifully decorated. I also want to say about some vacationers who behave like at home. We watched how three girls from Yekaterinburg, lying by the pool, first turned on the music of Lyubov Uspenskaya on the whole beach, not thinking that someone might not like it or interfere with their rest, then in a conversation they swore at the top of their voices, not paying attention to that that there are children there. And when they were nevertheless reprimanded, they said that they had come to put the whole of Dubai on their ears.
