We rested in this hotel from 07.11. 12 - 16.11. 12. I've never seen a nicer room! Room 200m2, huge balcony overlooking the Persian Gulf. Before leaving, we heard all sorts of horror stories about the UAE. The husband smoked calmly on the balcony (cigarettes are very expensive in the UAE, the husband took a block of cigarettes with him), especially since there are many places near the hotel where you can smoke safely, although I thought that my husband would quit smoking. Alas. . . Real alcohol was bought literally for a penny in Al Hamra Mall (there is a cherished door on the back of the building on the right (Swiss whiskey 10 dirhams, ours - 100-00 rubles, cognac France -15 dirhams (150-00 rubles) beer for 5 dirhams (50-00 rubles) cheaper than at the hotel) They took 3 bottles of whiskey and cognac to Russia, no one confiscated it from us at the airport, it was possible to take out more (as a gift to all relatives and friends) At Sharjah airport in duty free everything is twice as expensive! Friday market for me on the way to Aman (we went fishing to Aman in the Indian Ocean), we bought exotic fruits and a chic Arabic set of bedspreads and all kinds of pillows, I regret that I didn’t buy a silk carpet. Our friends bought a 3/4 carpet and it placed in a bag. You need to bargain, not be afraid to throw off. At first, they asked for $200 for the set, I threw it off for $50 and am very pleased, because it costs at least 15 thousand rubles for us! We went to Dubai. The spirit captures from their architecture. Just stunned by the dancing fountains in the Dubai Mall. This is a must see! Ride on the subway. We went crab hunting. Super, but pricey, of course! In general, a lot of impressions, now I'm digesting it! A rich country, I wonder how they managed to achieve such a flourishing in such a short time! In 2011 they celebrated their 40th anniversary! Their rulers are trying for the people! There is plenty of oil, but they do not export it, everything is invested in the development of the country. Build, build and build. . . And with us, someone enjoys all the benefits, they fatten, and we plow. We will run out of oil in 20 years, there will be a complete collapse! . With white envy I envy the people of the UAE and wish them further prosperity!
