I used to fly to good Egypt with my child in February, but this year, you know, I decided not to risk it and looked for an alternative. Settled in the Emirates. I must say right away that I was looking for a secluded five with good food and my own beach. And Rotana is just what I wanted. From the airport to go more than an hour, so who wants to travel around the country, the hotel is not suitable, it is far from everything. Around there are a couple of shops, a gas station, but if you need to eat, then the restaurant is only by taxi to the city bl 7 km. Inexpensive taxis and restaurants were praised, but they are few. They didn't say expensive. We ate full board. Excellent! Many, varied, beautifully decorated and served. The child fell in love with sushi (we didn’t even want to try it! ) A lot of meat, there was always fish, often seafood, wonderful confectionery, fruits. The only thing I did not see the children's menu for the very young. Our drinks seemed to be paid, but it turned out that water and juices were free during lunch, dinner, and a liter of water was given in the room every day, so we didn’t spend anything on water. In the price tag I saw Pepsi for 14 dh, and beer for 55. And about the hotel itself. The territory is large, well-groomed, get ready for the fact that you need to walk a little and uphill and down. For us it is not a problem at all, for others there are buggies, but you have to wait a little. Most of the rest are elderly Europeans, Arabs come for the weekend (it didn’t bother us) There is no animation. Youth probably have nowhere to have fun either. Therefore, if you need peace, silence, food and you are not going to go somewhere special, the hotel will suit you completely.
More about the beach. Equipped, very long. Outside the territory there is a wild beach where we went to collect outlandish shells and watch huge crabs.
In terms of the price of the tour, in principle, we did not go beyond our usual budget, which we once paid for Egypt, so in general we found a worthy replacement for ourselves and were satisfied.

I have read the previous reviews and for the most part I agree with them. You just need to correctly decide what you expect from your vacation.
