Literally today I returned with my wife from Dubai, the air carrier was FlyDubai - it's just a nightmare. We were sympathetic to the fact that meals and drinks on the company's aircraft, as well as watching movies on the screens built into the headrests, are paid. After all, the airline is a budget carrier. However, what awaited us at the Dubai airport crossed out all the positive with which we flew there. We (about 1000 people) were herded like sheep into a stall along with passengers from African countries and other not more advanced regions, where we together spent a little more than 2 hours in line. I do not suffer from racism, but I was a little worried about the cough of the Afghans in national costumes, who stood nearby. However, 50% of the passengers were dressed in exotic national costumes. Here I remembered the Bible story about the Tower of Babel. I admit honestly - one of the reasons for the trip is to see the Burj Khalifa in Dubai with my own eyes.
At first I thought that such a queue was created due to the retinal scan, but on the way back the retina was not scanned, but stood in line for 3 hours. Now I understand why the tour operator brings tourists to the airport 4 hours before departure. The airport staff are clueless and very, VERY, slow. I was frankly surprised that there was no telescopic ladder for our plane at the airport, passengers are transported by buses as in old regional airports. Maybe this is an exception for our tourists and passengers from Africa and other poor countries, since they were the vast majority there.

There are no comments to the hotel, the hotel is not the first freshness, but very good. The first thing that struck the hotel is the scale of the rooms, they are just huge. We had an ordinary double, which consisted of two rooms, one of which is a living room, and the second is a bedroom.
Each room has a 42 "LCD Sony TV, as well as a telephone (the telephone was even placed in the toilet). I was very pleased with the electric kettle and the tea, coffee, cream and sugar that came with it. All this can be used free of charge, you only pay for what you took from the refrigerator We only spent the night and had breakfast at the hotel, but we were completely satisfied with the breakfasts. The rooms were cleaned daily, everything you needed (shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, brushing and shaving kits, etc. ) and even more were also changed daily .
We, among other things, also had a very beautiful view of the bay from the window, if you ask at the reception, they will arrange the same for you.

Breakfast is from 6:30 to 11:00, I advise you to wake up early and book a trip to Mamzar beach, the best that the hotel offers. The beach looks like in the Bounty advertisement, the entry into the water is excellent. Buses to the beach leave at 10:00 and 11:00, and back at 14:00 and 15:00.
We were once denied a transfer at 10:00 due to lack of seats on the bus, we had to go at 11:00. If you have come to the UAE only for the sake of a beach holiday, you will have the opportunity to be convinced of your mistake. It's like going to Paris to swim in the Seine.

Although, we spent about 2 hours on the beach for the whole holiday. The rest of the time was spent in Dubai. We visited the 124th floor of the Burj Khalifa, spoiling the impression of the city. Because from a height the city looks just depressing. However, it needs to be seen: sand, wastelands, construction sites. Much more struck by its beauty singing fountain. It turns on for 5 minutes every half hour, but it's something. I really liked the aquarium in the Dubai shopping center, but we still didn’t dare to walk through the tunnel in it for $ 20 each, because all the fish were quite successfully examined by walking along the perimeter of the aquarium. And yet, I advise you to ride the subway.

It is completely new and very interesting, one of the latest achievements of Japanese scientific and technological progress. At the same time, it is also worth walking to the notorious Parus Hotel and through the old city in order to feel the spirit of a real Arab city, and not the achievements of European and American architecture sheathed in glass.
