Rested 01-10 August 2012. We flew flydubai from Kharkov. There is no food on the plane, this is not a problem - we took sandwiches with us) Arrived around 8 pm. We arrived at the hotel by 10 pm, at the reception we immediately found out which room was better - with a view of the road or the pool - we were told that it was too noisy in the room with a view of the road and advised to take a room with a view of the pool. The room is nice, shower/tea supplies replenished every day. The only thing that upset us was the work of the refrigerator)) it was cooler in the room than in it)) The staff is friendly, cleaning every day. We had only breakfast, we had enough of everything. The food is delicious, but not that much choice . . but we were not hungry)
Several times we went to the far beach (to the right of the hotel, we reached the Lulu Beach hotel and behind it) - the beach is huge, few people, but far away. Therefore, we often went to the beach next to the hotel (to the left across the road, next to the tower) - the beach is not big, in principle clean, we liked it.
We walked a lot. Near the aquarium - a must for everyone to go there !!! ! It is so beautiful, there are so many fish of all kinds! ! From the aquarium we went for a walk along the bay, to the viewing wheel. From the wheel we reached the neighboring bay, there is a beautiful fountain with a laser show - I really liked it! There is also a 100-meter fountain. There is also a park where locals like to relax (Al Majaz Park).

We went to Abu Dhabi on our own. I advise everyone! There is the most beautiful and largest mosque in the UAE. We went like this: we had breakfast in the morning and at 8 we already left the hotel. We walked to the Central Sharjah Bus Station (from the hotel on the right to the intersection in the Lulu Beach hotel area, and again to the right, there across the bridge to the left), no more than half an hour walk. By taxi it will cost 10 dirhams. At the box office there bought tickets to Abu Dhabi 30 dirhams / person, bus number 117.2 hours to go. The bus arrives at the Main Bus station, there is a taxi rank near it, a taxi to Grand White Mosque cost us 27 dirhams. The White Mosque is worth seeing with your own eyes. Entrance is free, you can walk along it as much as you like. At the entrance, women are given an abaya, men must wear trousers. Taxi back to Main Bus Station - 33 dirhams (went the other way, on a detour)), the bus to Sharjah starts from the same place where it came, tickets are bought at the station building, they already cost 25 dirhams / person. The hotel offers this tour for $70/person. This trip cost us about $49 for two (180 dirhams)). However, we were not bound to the guide/bus/time.
From the hotel we took a shuttle bus to the city center. It is located on a shopping street with a length of several kilometers. Nearby is a Gift market where you can buy everything from 1 to 10 dirhams.
We took a taxi (10 dirhams) to the blue market, also known as "wagons", - outwardly, of course, very beautiful, but . . we didn’t like what they sell inside . . everything is not of high quality . . it looks like Chinese . . we looked at the shoes , children's toys, bags . . everything is crooked, stinks . . in general, according to the descriptions and reviews of other tourists, we expected more.
Next to these "trailers" is the mosque of King Faisal, beautiful. We walked to the fish market . . mmm . . how much is there . .
The currency was changed at a bank in a supermarket near the hotel (about 20 minutes to go, immediately to the left of the hotel, the road up, past the private sector : )). The guide said that you can change at the hotel and in shops near the hotel, but the rate was not very profitable . .
We didn’t visit several museums and parks . . sorry . . it was just Ramadan, the work schedule was not very convenient . .
In general, I really liked the rest, the sea is clean, the beach is good, there is where to walk. Not Dubai, of course, but still : ) Almost every day there were somewhere, I liked everything.
Another thing I wanted to say - all these excursions that the guides offer, you can not take, but walk yourself! There are subways, taxis, buses, maps of Sharjah, Dubai, there is a lot of information on the Internet about bus routes, schedules of all kinds of museums, malls, etc. Last year we saw the whole of Dubai on our own, were everywhere where possible, while the costs were minimal).
