I stayed with my husband at the end of October. We went from the company Natalie Tours (Ukraine) from Kharkov. We were at the hotel at 22.00 and immediately faced with the fact that they gave us the wrong room - a double with two beds, for smokers and with a terribly unpleasant smell (127). At the reception they promised to change the room the next day only after 12 days. As a result, this issue was resolved as soon as we talked with the guide. Rooms are cleaned and towels are changed every day, bed linen is changed about once every 2 days. Maybe someone else noticed some other shortcomings, but we almost never visited the hotel)))
Having previously bought an umbrella, we went to the free beach, which is 4-5 minutes from the hotel.
There were a lot of people on the paid beach of the hotel opposite (30 dirhams per person). it was visited not only by our vacationers.

There is also a large free beach about 10 minutes walk from the hotel, but because of the heat, returning back becomes unbearable, and there were too many people on this beach.
Now about excursions: we took an excursion from a local operator (the representative is sitting in the hotel lobby), because our tour operators offer less interesting excursions at a higher price. We took a tour of modern Dubai with a visit to the aquarium and terrarium in the Dubai Mall (60 USD / person). All other days we traveled to Dubai and Sharjah and traveled to the sights on our own.
There is a shuttle bus from the hotel to Dubai, the schedule of which can be obtained from the concierge. The bus takes you to the Lords Dubai hotel, from there you can get to Nasser Square on foot (15-20 minutes) or to the Union metro station (10 minutes). The bus stop is located on the side of the Lords Hotel, you need to go down the alley past the Lords main entrance, and then turn right and go straight all the time.
Prices on the famous Nasser Square, as well as prices for food, clothes, etc. , do not differ from prices in Ukraine! Therefore, there was no point in buying equipment or a fur coat, and we just walked around Nasser, went to a couple of Gift stores and ate local shawarma.
We went to the Dubai Mall by metro: at the Union metro station we bought 2 tickets to the Dubai Mall station and 2 bus tickets to the Dubai Mall, because walking distance from the metro station. When buying, you will be asked if you need return tickets, answer yes if you intend to return by metro.
Also every day a bus came to the hotel from the City Center in Sharjah. This bus picked up tourists from our hotel and from neighboring ones and took us to the parking lot of the City Center in the center of Sharjah. From there, just walking straight all the time, you can get to the Sharjah waterfront, the famous "engines" and the fish market. But I warn you, it takes about 30 minutes to walk to the "trains", but it's worth it))) Of course, you can take a taxi (10 dirhams), but, most likely, you will not like Sharjah)

Seafood was bought for the first time at the fish market, after - in the City Center supermarket, where the price and freshness are not inferior to those in the market.
In general, those who are still thinking about going to the UAE or another country, I still advise you to stay in the UAE)
