I decided to write a fresh review about the Grand Hotel, which is located in Sharjah. My friends were going to the Emirates, so I immediately decided to go with them. I have long dreamed of visiting this oriental fairy tale.
Now about the hotel: we chose the hotel for a long time, but due to the proximity to the sea and the price is lower than hotels in Dubai, we chose this hotel and did not regret it.
The hotel has its own beach, the sand on the beach is clean. The staff on the beach and throughout the hotel are very friendly. Always willing to help with any request.
I got a room overlooking the road, but there was not much noise from the road. The room is quite decent, although the furniture is a bit old. Bathrobe, slippers, various bath accessories were always available. There is a flat screen TV with 3 Russian channels.
In terms of nutrition - they took breakfast - of course I would like more variety, but what was given at breakfast was very tasty and satisfying. (scrambled eggs, pancakes, cereals, toasts, fruits, and much more). The restaurant is cozy, clean, everything is in order.
Near the hotel there are restaurants, a supermarket. But we went to a large supermarket which is a 25 minute walk from the hotel. Prices are quite reasonable, cheaper than in Dubai.
There is not much entertainment in the hotel itself, so we went for a walk to Dubai by transfer from the hotel. And they also took excursions in the office opposite the hotel, called Shan Tours - their sign is attractive). We took excursions to the Indian Ocean, safari, Abu Dhabi. For many years now, friends have been taking various excursions from them and everything always goes at the highest level. And according to the story of the guide Murata, I learned so many interesting things about the history of the emirates. For 44 years from the desert, skillful rulers have turned the Emirates into such beauty.
The general impression of this country is only positive. No complaints about the hotel either. Rest was a success. I really hope to return soon.
