Rest in mid-April, a family with a child of 3 years.
I note right away that everything written on various resources in the reviews of tourists is true. And the reviews about the dirty sea with algae and garbage are true, and the reviews about the clear and clean turquoise water too. About good food and weak food, about loud sounds from the shipyard and about complete silence. The thing is, it's different at different times. We were only a week, and every day was different from the previous one.

If you want a view of the shipyard and the embankment, ask for the side of the odd room numbers, if you prefer the view of the city and the territory of the club next door, you should take the even numbers. The sea will be visible both there and there. Our room was on the 10th floor on the even side. We did not have the smell that tourists complain about in some reviews, and the furniture was wooden and middle-aged and worn.

There were two beds in the room, contrary to our wishes and the hotel's prior promise to provide one king size bed. Therefore, they asked to see other options. Another option was a room on the 8th floor with one bed. But there was the whole bouquet - and the musty smell of dampness and tobacco, and yellowish furniture made of Soviet-era chipboard. We decided to go back to the first option. Attention traveling with children - the child is not provided with an extra bed, only a crib on request. And, if the child does not already fit in the baby cot, then he will sleep with his parents. Or you need to order a different room category.

The room has bathrobes and slippers, an iron and tea and coffee making facilities. Clean normally, but without fanaticism. Either you have to ask for a second bathrobe, then you have to run for a third set of towels. The cream is over. Linen changed three times a week.
A feature of this hotel is the lack of balconies and the ability to independently open the window. On request, a “man with a crowbar” comes and tears it off, then you have to call again to close it. Ventilation is carried out by the air conditioning system, it works properly, but still, I want fresh air.
The shower did not have an extractor fan, so it was damp, swimsuits and towels did not dry out.
The soundproofing between the rooms is good, but you can hear the hallway.

What really makes an indelible impression is the garden in the hotel building, through which people enter the restaurant. Tall mature trees, a stream, a tiny fish pond, a waterfall. Considering the peculiarities of the climate, a great option for eating "al fresco".
The restaurant is a large dining room. There are no tablecloths, there are starched napkins. Breakfast is standard, but there is no choice of cereals, only poorly cooked oatmeal.

There is no scrambled eggs on the Swedish line, but there is a line to the cook for fried eggs or scrambled eggs. Otherwise, everything is fine - blue cheeses, fruits, strawberry and mango smoothies (we couldn’t drink, very greasy), waiters carry coffee, you have to go to the “samovar” for tea. As for dinners, they are just excellent. No wonder they praise Thursday, fish day. We also really enjoyed the Arabic dinner. The Italian evening was the most modest of all the others, and I simply cannot stand Indian cuisine, but this is not the fault of the hotel. Always a good selection of appetizers, both local and international, the choice of hot fish and meat dishes was always pleasing, a couple of excellent soups and, of course, a dessert table. Here, the erasing of boundaries was in all its splendor - on a small table there were always berry cheesecake, apricot or apple tart, namura and baklava, puddings, desserts in glasses.
An important point is that some drinks at dinner are already included in the price - these are water, cola, fanta, straight. There is no alcohol for free or for money, since Sharjah has a dry law. This, by the way, has a very positive effect on the contingent of vacationers. Considering that 70% are citizens of the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and Ukraine, it was nice to see sober intelligent faces.

Medium sized beach, sand. Good wooden stationary umbrellas, located at a sufficient distance from each other. There is also a beach area on a lawn under palm trees. The purity and color of the sea depend on the weather - we happened to find both turquoise clear water and a muddy sea full of household garbage after rain. Some reviews said that “black pieces of oil” come across in the sea ...We saw this “oil” - we smiled. The fact is that cuttlefish swim to the beach and release ink if they are frightened or accidentally hurt!
We saw about 5 pieces in the water at the same time, the man caught one in a bucket and showed it to the children, then let it go. About half of the vacationers there are with children, but there is no entertainment for them at the hotel, except for two small pools, one of which is covered with an awning from the sun. Ice cream "Baskin Robbins" in the beach cafe - 18 dirhams. 15, if you take not in a waffle cone, but in a paper cup. Coffee - 20, soup - 20. Adult pools are clean, well maintained, medium in size.

Free shuttle buses run from the hotel several times a day to 3 malls in Sharjah and City Center Deira in Dubai. There is a hotel bus to Deira, buses from the shopping center to Sharjah. Usually you can sit down safely if there is no arrival of the Chinese. The mall in Deira is located next to the metro stations.

Right next to the Radisson Blu Resort Sharjah, a beautiful new embankment begins - there is where to take a walk in the evening. In 10-15 minutes walk you will reach the Museum of Islamic Civilization.

The disadvantages of the hotel's location include a shipyard and a mosque.
The mosque is literally nearby, and loud calls to prayer can be heard perfectly. On Friday, they listened to the sermon over the loudspeaker. And the shipyard, although it frightens with an industrial look right on the beach, does not bring real inconvenience. Maybe once or twice something loudly clanged.

The weather in mid-April is very comfortable for recreation, the sea is 25-26, the air is 30-32 during the day. There is nothing to have fun in the hotel, except for the beach and the sea. The cost of a taxi to Dubai varies depending on the destination. To Deira, about 80 dirhams, to the Emirates Mall, Dubai Marina and Palma - 140-180.

A few words about tour operators. In Ukraine, this tour was sold by Koral, Odeon was indicated in the voucher as the host, Sanmar met at the airport. I don’t know which of them (and perhaps it’s all one office) is doing weird things there “for working with tourists”, but in 2016 it’s already somehow strange to listen to fairy tales about the need to meet with a guide in order to bring him insurance (! ) and a ticket.
Tourists, please remember - you are not obliged to go anywhere and carry nothing. Registration of arriving TO or the hotel is done independently. There was also poor organization of the transfer to the airport. The road there is 20-30 minutes, taking into account traffic. The flight was at 9 am, picked up from the hotel at 5.30. The reason turned out to be very simple - a tourist was taken from our hotel to another flight that had departed earlier. They were too lazy to drive a car.

The summary is - a good hotel for a relaxing quiet holiday. For people without special claims and high expectations. If you are lucky, like us, and the hotel is not full, then, in general, relaxation is guaranteed.

P. S. I draw the attention of those whose birthday falls on a holiday in the UAE: in the Atlantis Aquaventura water park in the DR, plus 6 days of free admission for the birthday person. Food, a cell and entrance to the aquarium are for money, but these are not mandatory options.
To receive a voucher for free entry, you must register on the site and fill out the form, indicating the name and date of birth. Upon receipt of tickets at the box office, you will need to present a printed voucher and an identity document (passport).

The hotel congratulates the birthday boy with a cake in the room.
