We decided to go to the Emirates for the sake of diversity - we did not regret it. The most important thing is that there is no such, excuse me, cattle, as in Egypt and Turkey, because the prices are higher and quite respectable people go.
About the rest in general: for those who go to hang out, the UAE is not suitable, because there is no animation in hotels, there are no discos and it is extremely difficult to buy alcohol. Ideal for lovers of a very quiet family holiday.
The Emirate of Um Al Quwain is small and not rich. Mostly fishermen live there. Not far from the hotel in their village, we found a mini-supermarket where we bought various juices and dairy products very inexpensively. On the last day, we took a taxi and went to the Lu-Lu mega-market, where they also picked up various exotic fruits very inexpensively.

We really liked the hotel. Small, cozy, the territory is green, the staff is very polite, though they don’t know a word in Russian - they only spoke English. The food is excellent - breakfast is more European: sausages, eggs, omelettes, toast, juice, and dinner is more varied and oriental. Several times they gave delicious crab soup and incomparable lulakebab made from real lamb. The staff is very calm about taking food out of the dining room, we went on the breakfast + dinner system and did not feel discomfort at all, especially since the prices in the mini-market near the hotel are somewhere the same as in Kyiv. In this hotel you can also order an evening crab hunt (for her came from other hotels) and then eating the same crabs at dinner.
The rooms are old, but very clean, cleaned every day, nothing had to be paid extra, when we gave money to the porter, according to the Egyptian habit, he was very surprised.
They say that the hotel has excellent fishing, many tourists came here mainly for the sake of it, then the fish can be cooked on the grill, which they will leave for you for free.
The only and main minus is that we probably got into such a period, but on the hotel beach there is a rather strong current - before lunch in one direction, after lunch in the other, the safe line is clearly fenced, you can’t swim far, so it’s good for lovers to swim for a long time, like I, the beach was boring. But the beach is good, right next to the building, there are enough sunbeds, the sea is clean. In order to swim, we went to the wild city beach, about 15 minutes from the hotel on foot. There is an open sea, there are no sunbeds, but it is unusually beautiful and there are very few people (when leaving the hotel to the right and not turning anywhere along the highway).
A separate note - there are people of much more strict morals, therefore, in order to avoid conflicts, it is better for women to dress not in T-shirts and shorts, but in something longer and more decent.
From the hotel there is a free bus to Dubai 2 times a week, to Sharjah - once a week, and 2 times a week the boat takes you to look at pink flamingos for free.
Our return flight was late and we mentally prepared for the fact that at 12 o’clock we would be asked to leave the room and would have to hang out around the territory. Nothing like that - at the reception they told me that we are in the room as long as we need.
A lot of Filipinos and Indians working in the UAE come to the hotel for the weekend, but they behave quietly and decently, the only thing is that they have their own table, very, very spicy dishes, it is important not to confuse))).
A hotel for families with children, pensioners and people who love silence and solitude.

I have never wanted to return to any of the hotels, but if there is an opportunity, the Flamingo would repeat the holiday again.
But about the operator, I want to express my "fe". "Join-up" sent us, it began with the fact that they deceived us about the departure - they promised in the morning, they postponed it to 11 pm, and as a result, we lost the paid day. I specifically called the airport - there were seats for the morning and no one canceled the flight, it was the Turovites who wanted to save money. We made a scandal and they asked the hotel to bring us, as newlyweds, a fruit basket to the room as compensation.
The meeting party "Lama-tour" is generally a horror and a nightmare. Let's start with the fact that, due to the fault of the guide, I almost died on the first day and then walked with scars and cuts until the end of the rest. This young lady herself did not appear at the hotel, and when we called her at the indicated number, she said in plain text that she works in Sharjah, at 5 * and that we are limit and suck for her, she does not respect us as clients, because chose an inexpensive hotel. Barely achieved the sale of excursions to the ocean, to Oman.
Guys with the same operator traveled with us, so they complained that one of them, again, due to the fault of the operator, had problems with a visa and he and his wife were kept in a hotel in duty free for 3 days.
In general, go to the hotel - you won’t regret it, but avoid Lama Tour like fire
