Good afternoon. From time to time I use the services of a chord tour, and all the time I get into some unpleasant petty situations, but this trip surpassed all the others.
On 02/08/2020 we started the "French Kiss" tour at 3 o'clock in the morning. We read all the conditions in advance, and knew that there would be two nightly transfers in a row, but at the same time, the first and last nights were in full-fledged hotels.
When we left Paris at night for Prague, the bus was driving extremely slowly. And closer to 8 in the morning, the guide said that we had been driving at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour all night due to problems with the gearbox. (That is, the breakdown occurred even earlier, but for some reason we continued to drive. Perhaps we hoped that 1000 kilometers to Prague would somehow be able to dissolve on their own).
Doesn't the bus have MOT before it travels 3900 kilometers?
Here begins the most interesting. From eight in the morning until three in the afternoon, we were waiting for a specialist who would come and say “diagnosis” to the bus, so that later we could wait until a new bus arrived and took us to the final point - Prague. The day was wasted. And so I wanted to get on a night tour of the city ...
After two night trips and a wasted day, we arrived by French bus at half past four in the morning to a hotel in Prague. All I wanted to do was lie back and sleep without my hind legs. But then the guide says: “At 8:45 we meet in the lobby and go by metro for a sightseeing tour, and as a bonus from the company, we give everyone an excursion to Hradcani.” A bonus, not a bonus, but one of the first needs of a person is a good sleep. Which, unfortunately, we didn't get. I had to be content with a three-hour relaxation.
Of course, these two excursions could have been abandoned. But leaving the hotel at 8:45 is a condition that is equal for everyone who wants to and those who do not want to, for children (of whom there were three on the bus) and for adults. At 8:40 each of us had to close the room and return the key to the reception.
Such a "bonus", to be honest.
It is unfortunate that Accord-tour does not care about its customers and cannot provide either maintenance or adequate compensation for moral damage.
