We went on tour C Accord-tour "Krakow and Prague - super blitz" from 05/22/2012 to 05/26/2012 flight 136, leader Lidia Medvedeva.

What we liked:

The drivers spoke fluent Polish and communicated confidently with the customs officers. There were no problems crossing the border.

Sanitary stops with free toilets were frequent enough.

It's good that all excursions in Poland are on the first day, there are fewer transfers, more time is left for Prague.

A sightseeing tour of Krakow includes the historical city center, Jagiellonian University, Wawel Castle, almost all the best sights of old Krakow.

Good hotel in Krapkowice, comfortable beds, shower and toilet in the room, balcony, good breakfast.

Morning transfer to Prague, the guide Anna immediately showed a good exchange office, a canteen, free toilets.

Nice sightseeing tour of the old town. Unfortunately, Prague Castle is not included in either the sightseeing or optional excursions for some reason.

Good hotel in Prague, Barrandov district, 30 minutes to the center by tram.

The room has comfortable beds, bathroom, shower, hair dryer. Excellent breakfast.

The next day we did not go to Karlovy Vary, we devoted the day to exploring Prague, since there is a choice. But if you go, you won't see Prague. There will be no time.

The route was compiled by ourselves in advance, reading the reviews of tourists on the Internet.

Prague Castle, Cathedral of St. Vitta, Hradcany, Loreta, Petřín Hill with the Eiffel Tower, Kampa Island, Vaclaviak, Wallenstein Garden, a boar's knee with dark beer "at Ferdinand's" ... Sea of impressions!

However, the tourists who went to Karlovy Vary were also very pleased.

What did not like:

The Neoplan Borini bus is apparently old, the seats are uncomfortable, there is nowhere to put your legs, your knees rest against the backs of the seats, some of the seat backs are not fixed and fall on your neighbors. I had to not sleep, but to doze in a crooked state.

In Krakow, the drivers arrived late, although there was every opportunity to leave earlier from the overnight stop. Due to the delay, the hungry and sleepy group was immediately sent on a long sightseeing tour.

The leader of the group did not give time to go to the toilet after the road, or change money, or have breakfast.

It is clear that in this state we were already a little not up to the beauties of Krakow.

Immediately after the sightseeing tour of the city and the Wawel Castle, an optional excursion "Jewels of the Polish Crown" was to take place, costing 18 euros per person, indicated in the tour program. But the leader of the group did not submit an application to the Polish guide on time. In order not to return the money, the group was quickly led through the halls with tapestries. Soon the tourists realized that the tour was not the same, but there was no longer any strength or desire to find out anything. The leader blamed the guide.

After the tour, I also had to look for toilets, exchange points and inexpensive cafes on my own.

It's good that we prepared a little in advance on the Internet.

In the evening, the drivers "missed" in the dark past the hotel in Krapkovitsa and circled around the surrounding villages for an hour and a half.

Apparently, neither the drivers nor the manager thought of calling the hotel and clarifying the way.

As a result, we checked into the hotel only at 23.30, and the rise, breakfast - at 7 am, check-out - at 8 o'clock.

Check-in at hotels according to European standards begins at 14:00. But after the sightseeing tour, which ended at 18:00, no one thought to check us into a hotel. Part of the group, together with the leader and two drivers, went for a boat ride on the Vltava. And only after the skaters returned, everyone went to the hotel. Again at 23:00. I didn’t even dream of any evening Prague!

In Prague, the head of the group distributed the places in the hotel in such a wonderful way that two married couples did not have enough double rooms. And she did not find anything better than to offer two married couples who barely know each other to live together in a quadruple room !!

After our decisive refusal, she had to call the already settled tourists and ask them to go down again to the reception with things and keys in order to redistribute the rooms!

As a result, the drivers, albeit with a creak, agreed to move to a quadruple room along with the tourists, and the issue was resolved, at the cost of losing two precious hours of sleep and our nerve cells. And the rise again at 7 am.

General impression:

We enjoyed the trip very much, despite some unfortunate oversights on the part of the "escort group".

The trip is very intense and tiring, two night trips, but the days are devoted exclusively to excursions and you can see a lot in such a short tour and for a relatively small price.

On the eve of the trip, our train arrived in Lviv in the morning, and the departure for the tour was only at 8 pm, which gave us the opportunity to see the sights of Lviv ourselves.

The sightseeing tour from the Accord-tour around Lviv on the last day of the tour served as a great addition.

In general, an interesting and eventful tour. Thanks to Accord, we will most likely plan our next trip with him. We hope that next time the tour leader will be more professional.
