I want to share my impressions about the trip "Velich Rimu".15.08.2013
It's no secret that Italy is an insanely colorful country. It attracts like a magnet. In 10 days we managed to visit Rome, Naples, Pompeii, the Vatican, Florence, Padua, Venice. Rome is simply amazing with its beauty and grandeur, it was very exciting a trip to the Vatican, we also visited the Leaning Tower of Pisa and it turned out to be a little different from what I imagined :) Florence left an indelible impression with its architecture and our guide was just great, we caught her every word :roll: Padua is a very nice city, cozy , you feel at home in it, you want to walk along its streets and eat ice cream :) I went to Venice purposefully to ride a gondola since I had been in Venice before, but it didn’t work out. I realized that being in Venice and not riding on a gondola, it means not to feel the spirit of this city. Our gondolier was a very colorful Italian, he joked and entertained us as best he could all the way, and when our gondola swam a little faster, he called himself Schumacher: D Return home didn't want to at all. :roll:
I would especially like to note our group leader, Yuri Vanivsky. I used to go on tours before and I have something to compare with. Yuri is a professional with a capital letter. From the first minute of being on the bus, he managed to win over the whole group, we listened to him with pleasure stories about Italy, the advice he gave. If there were any misunderstandings, he solved everything very quickly and calmly. You could contact him with a question at any moment and he told and explained everything. Everything was very well organized, highest level. It would be great if on my next trip there would be such an accompanying group as Yuri, who can create a positive atmosphere and be able to keep it until the last day. By the way, I also paid attention to the appearance of Yuri and the drivers. It was nice to see that each morning Yuriy was neatly dressed and fresh, the same can be said about the drivers. Our drivers were with a sense of humor, constantly joking about something and our pastime on the road did not seem so long.
I thank the Algol company for such a carefree vacation, full of impressions and positive emotions!

What hotel did you stay in in Rome? Is it really that bad with the choice of hotels?
I read the reviews here, I understand that all people are different and everyone has different requirements, but somehow I’m a little restless about hotels, theft right in the room ....., I googled and the reviews on different sites are still not very .... in particular about the hotel in Rome "Consul".

В каком отеле в Риме вы останавливались? Действительно ли все так плохо с выбором отелей?
Начиталась тут отзывов, понимаю, что все люди разные и требования у всех разные, но как-то немножко неспокойно по поводу отелей, воровства прямо в номере....., я прогуглила и отзывы на разных сайтах таки не очень....в частности об отеле в Риме "Consul".
Good afternoon! We stayed at the consul :) well, the room itself was not very good, but there was hot water, the air conditioner worked. Wi-Fi was paid, 3 € per hour, but you could take it for half an hour. I myself was worried about theft, as our attendant warned be careful. But everything was fine, I took my passport and all the money with me, left the jewelry in my suitcase and thank God nothing was lost. After the tours, everything was neatly folded in the room, cleaned and all things were safe and sound.

Мы останавливались в консуле:) ну сам номер не очень,но была горячая вода,работал кондиционер.вай фай был платный,3€ в час,но можно было и брать на полчаса.я сама переживала на счет воровства,так как наш сопровождающий предупредил быть осторожными.Но все было отлично,я с собой забирала паспорт и все деньги,украшения оставляла в чемодане и слава богу ничего не пропало.после экскурсий все было аккуратно сложено в номере,убрано и все вещи в целости и сохранности.

There you need to walk 700 meters to the subway, bus 507 from the subway still takes care, if I’m not mistaken to the hotel directly. There is a Bill’s store not far from the meter, you can buy groceries and there is a very untouchable Chinese restaurant 15-20 minutes walk along the hotel, there and the portions are good and inexpensive.
Там нужно пройти метров 700 до метро,еще холит автобус 507 с метро ,если не ошибаюсь до отеля прямо.от метра недалеко есть магазин Билла ,там можно купить продукты и минут в 15-20 ходьбы вдоль от отеля есть очень недотрогой китайский ресторан,там и порции хорошии и недорого.
