Travel agency: (Moscow) Service type: пакетный тур |
I regret that I entrusted my vacation to this company. I paid for everything on the very first day of contacting this company. documents were collected. But the company submitted documents for a visa late. and then they just threw it away. All problems were blamed on the tour operator, and they did not want to answer for the incompetence of their employees. As a result, she had to go to court. A 4-day tour to Prague initially cost 12 thousand, but in the end I paid 33!
Here is a brief history, so that you can imagine how the Agency cheats on its clients.
On the day of the conclusion of the contract, the Contractor made sure to grant me a visa. On August 4, I fully paid for the tour and handed over all the necessary documents for the trip, but as I later learned that the agency submitted the documents to the embassy only on August 10. On August 12, 13, when I called the travel agency, the employee did not inform me that the documents were still under consideration.
And he also didn’t say anything about problems at the Czech Embassy with urgent visas (official statement of the Czech Embassy dated August 11, 2010) and only on August 13 at 20:00 Moscow time I was informed that the visa was still under consideration at the embassy and on August 15 I won't be able to fly. On August 16, 2010, I called the embassy myself and after a long conversation and a description of my difficult situation, the embassy employee went to a meeting and expedited the visa so that I could get it by 17:00 pm. At the same time, the agency itself did not make any efforts to help resolve this situation. The agency claimed that on August 16 the passport would definitely not be ready and it would be necessary to wait for August 17 after 14:00 to clarify, but they could not promise anything, since the embassy has the right to consider documents for up to 30 days. And that it is not their problem to solve the situation of each tourist individually.
They will not call the embassy and resolve the issue, but will simply wait. The tour package was handed to me at the tour operator's office with offers to move the dates to an inconvenient time for me from August 22 to 26, when I was supposed to go to work. Or buy a one-way ticket to Prague at my expense, while claiming that the ticket back to Moscow is valid. I found out about the unreliability of this information about the return flight only at the airport ticket office when buying a ticket to Prague. Having contacted a travel agency employee, they assured me that the ticket was valid, and only 10 minutes later they called back saying that my ticket was not valid. As a result, I bought Moscow-Prague-Moscow tickets at my own expense with a return on August 20, since this was the most economical departure option. I was not provided with a transfer.
The travel agency refused to extend my hotel, and I was no longer able to pay for it myself, since I had incurred travel expenses almost twice the cost of my tour. And I had to spend the night from 19 to 20 August at the airport.
Therefore, think carefully before entrusting your tour to such people.
