There were 10 of us, we chose the country, the hotel ourselves and turned to the ALL INCLUSIVE travel agency on Kharkiv highway, 58a. Charming travel agent Yulia Adamenko immediately booked a flight for the dates of interest and the Flower Garden Hotel, which we chose. We paid a deposit and gave copies of passports. A couple of days later it turned out that the chosen hotel was not confirmed to us and offered to choose from a new list. One hotel was located near the cemetery and the railway, but Julia assured me that it was magical there. We wanted to cancel the trip, but our agent said that it was impossible because the tickets were already booked. Then we stayed at the Palms Hotel (4 stars) near Bentotta. We asked for a private transfer from the airport to the hotel. The price has changed several times. Then there was the obligatory fee for Christmas dinner - 125 dollars / person (on the spot it turned out that its price was 40 dollars / person). And Julia sobbed that she gave us a tour at cost, without earning anything. Tickets, vouchers and insurance received the day before departure, there were no contracts at all.
Flydubai deserves a separate story - we arrived 2 days late! First, they flew from Boryspil to Dubai 5 hours later, then instead of Dubai they landed in Qatar (Doha), in the morning at 7-30 they flew to Dubai - Hurray! And they say - you can continue your journey to Colombo at 21-50. Thanks flydubai - we also visited Dubai. We flew to Colombo at 1-30 at night instead of 21-50. We arrived, and no one was waiting for us there, although Yulia assured us that she had informed the operator Joynap in Sri Lanka about being late. It seems to me that she didn’t tell anyone - she was all asleep ... There we were met by the “guide” - Roman, who, under fear of being strangled, found our bus after 3 hours and only at 15-00 we arrived at the hotel. For which money was paid for an individual transfer ($ 95 / person), it turned out again on the spot that a bus ride for 12 people costs only $ 110!
The hotel pleased with cleanliness, comfort, normal service, delicious breakfast. Ocean - pleasant waves. One problem - we were bitten by some mosquitoes, not even mosquitoes - there is no malaria in the country. Big fellow - beach guide Dylan (Dan), who organized a good excursion to Kandy and along the Bentotta River, tuk-tuk trips to the Buddha temple ... The hotel guide Roman did not itch .. Deliciously fed rice and seafood in restaurants on the beach. Fruits and fresh juices are cheap and very tasty.
Keeping in mind the clarity of flydubai flights, we were very afraid not to get home on December 31st, but to celebrate the New Year somewhere in the sands, according to the planned trend, our hotel guide forgot that we had an individual transfer (we left the hotel late), but Slava God, the flight delay from Colombo was only an hour, and in Dubai, within 25 minutes, they managed to overload us and even our luggage!
Summary: Sri Lanka is a wonderful country, but travel with other agents, airlines and a tour operator. We do not recommend contacting Join up, FlyDubai and Yulia Adamenko.
I do not argue, FlyDubai is still an airline)) with Join Up is more often good than bad. But with the manager you are the most unlucky. At least an individual transfer to your company costs 105 dollars one way for ALL (and not how you paid 95 people) info on the Joint Up website, in the Sri Lanka-services-private transfer section), New Year's Eve dinner should have been at the operator's price of 85 dollars per person And let Julia not cry for the tour at the "cost" ... on her "commission" she herself had a rest in Sri Lanka (elementarily calculating the difference in what you paid and what you had to pay for, it turns out to be $ 1,100 on top, and this is not counting honestly earned commissions) ... it's a pity ... choose normal travel agents ...
Не спорю, FlyDubai те еще авиалинии)) с Джоин Ап все чаще хорошо, чем плохо. А вот с менеджером вам не повезло больше всего. Как минимум индивидуальный трансфер на вашу компанию стоит 105 долларов в одну сторону за ВСЕХ (а не как вы платили 95чел) инфо на сайте Джоин Ап, в разделе Шри Ланка-услуги-индивидуальный трансфер), Новогодний ужин должен был быть по цене оператора 85 долларов с чел. А Юлия пусть не плачет за тур по "себестоимости"...на свою "комиссию" она и сама походу отдохнула на Шри Ланке (элементарно подсчитав разницу в том что вы платили и в том за что должны были платить получается сверху 1100 долларов, и это не считая честно заработанных комиссионных)...очень жаль...выбирайте нормальных турагентов...
Good day to all! Yesterday I arrived with my husband and son from Egypt. I liked the rest so much that I decided not only to call and thank our travel agent (Julia), but also write a review. We were at the Tia Heights Makadi Bay 5 * hotel. We flew from the tour operator Coral travel, UIA airline. I will say right away, when we flew, we tuned in only for a good rest. Hotel Yulia chose a week for us, or rather we caught a better price for the chosen hotel on the first day. Julia patiently sent me price changes and other offers every day. For 5 days we decided. We flew on a last minute ticket (we took it 3 days before departure).
To be honest, I was surprised by the story above. Dear 10 people! did none of you deign to call the same company Join Up and clarify the cost of gala dinners and everything else??!! And it’s very funny that EVERYTHING didn’t suit you !! Airline, tour operator and travel agent) Sometimes you read reviews like this and think "good boots, you have to take!))" I wish all tourists a pleasant stay and a positive attitude!

I advise tourists Tia Heights Makadi Bay 5 * especially with children. Meals, slides, service... We want to go there again!)

Всем доброго времени суток! Вчера прилетели с мужем и сыном из Египта. Отдых понравился настолько, что решила не только позвонить и отблагодарить нашего турагента (Юлию), но и написать отзыв. Были мы в отеле Tia Heights Makadi Bay 5*. Летели от туроператора Coral travel, авиакомпания МАУ. Скажу сразу, когда мы летели, настраивались только на хороший отдых. Отель Юля нам подбирала неделю, точнее мы ловили более выгодную стоимость выбранного отеля в первый день. Юля терпеливо каждый день отправляла мне изменение цен и другие предложения. За 5 дней мы определились. Полетели по горящей путевке (брали за 3 дня до вылета).
Честно говоря меня оочень удивила история выше рассказанная. Уважаемые 10 человек! неужели никто из вас не соизволил позвонить в ту же компанию Джоин Ап и уточнить стоимость праздничных ужинов и всего остального??!! И очень уж смешно, что вас не устроило ВСЁ!! Авиакомпания, туроператор и турагент) Иногда читаешь вот такие отзывы и думаешь "хорошие сапоги, надо брать!))" Всем туристам желаю приятного отдыха и позитивного настроя!

Туристам советую Tia Heights Makadi Bay 5* особенно с детками. Питание, горки, сервис... Хотим туда снова!)
