Bought a couple of days before departure. The nuance was that the train tickets were sent 3 hours before departure, but the company employees warned about this. And so, the train was successful, the guides are experienced, interesting. We spent the night in a hotel near the center of Cherkasy. We went to Bakota, it is very beautiful there, I advise. Cherry on the cake, of course, I think the fortress in Kamenets is really the heritage of Ukraine! My only advice is to buy tours in advance so as not to wait for tickets for a long time.
