It is a pity that there are no ratings below 1. I have been vacationing at the WINDMILLS APARTMENTS allegedly 3 * hotel and Protaras (Cyprus) since 10/14/2012. Please note that the hotel does not have a star rating, these are apartments of category A, although they confirmed their category for the last time in 2009. I think that they would not even confirm this category now. Natalie Tours deceives us that this hotel has 3 *. I was not provided with any documents confirming stardom.

So, about the hotel. The food is terrible. For breakfast buffet: cheap sausage, cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, cereals, bread, diluted packaged juice (diluted with us in a ratio of 3 liters of water to 1 liter of juice from the package), tea, coffee. All. There is nothing hot. Lunch and dinner are continental. Every day the same thing - french fries with pork. Instead of a salad, some daub. The hotel is owned by a local grandfather. His entire family is on staff. Nobody speaks Russian, they don't even try to understand. Very lazy and dissatisfied that vacationers disturb them.

Mostly Russians rest in the hotel.

Bed linen and towels were changed only on the 4th day and only after the request. The rooms are not cleaned. Cleaning is taking out the trash. The plumbing was dirty when we moved in. When asked to wash it, the maid replied that she did not have cleaning products, so she could not do it.

At first I was settled on the 1st floor. There were spiders in the room and it was damp. Moved to the 2nd floor upon request. At least there was no moisture there, but the spiders remained.

I was very disappointed in Natalie tours, although I constantly went through her. The impression was spoiled by our guide at the hotel Kira Georgio, whose work was limited only on the day of arrival to writing out receipts for excursions. At the request to be moved to another 3 * hotel, she requested 55 euros per day. For such a surcharge with the cost of a tour, I could buy 5 * with animation, food and normal conditions.

In our hotel, I met a woman whom Natalie Tours forgot to pay for the transfer from the airport to the hotel and she had to take a taxi for 50 euros and get there on her own.

The hotel is not located in Protaras, as Natalie writes, but in Perner. Pernera is a village so there is nowhere to go in the evening. If you want to take a walk in the evening, then the closest is Protaras. To Protaras 30 minutes on foot in the dark or by bus 10 minutes. The bus runs every half an hour, and after 12 pm every hour and a half. The bus fare is 1 euro before 12 pm and 2.5 euro after 12 pm. So keep that in mind when you go to this hotel.

The hotel does not have a hair dryer or toiletries. TV and air conditioning for a fee. TV only has local channels. I myself thought that you don’t need a TV on vacation, but it’s impossible to sit in such a wilderness. And every day you don’t run into Protaras and Ayia Napa.

And also prepare for a 3-hour drive from the airport to the hotel and back. Transaero arrives at the airport of Paphos, and the hotel is on the other side of the island of Cyprus in Pernera. This is the area of Famagusta, which borders the Turkish occupied territory. In fact, other airlines fly to Larnaca Airport, which is closer to Protaras, namely about 1 hour drive.

Natalie Tours lost loyal customers and also ruined the reputation of the country with people who went to Cyprus for the first time and who had a bad impression due to a bad hotel.
