Attention!!!!
I want to warn everyone who is going or is just going to Italy with Intourist. I flew from 3 to 13 July. It remains in deep disappointment from the operator, tk. I felt "scam" in everything. I chose an operator with t.z. reliability, fame, but as always did not look at the reviews.
I chose a hotel, made an advance payment (for a month), the hotel was confirmed, paid the remaining amount (3 weeks before departure). Documents for a visa handed over to the agency, too, for a month.
Everything would be fine, but the documents were not given to me even on the last evening before the flight, the time of which I also found without the participation of the agency, on the website of the air carrier.
In the evening, they only said that you would receive the documents at the airport, but there were no guarantees that the VISA was given, the documents were in the status “in progress”, and also that the hotel had been changed, look at the website (the first “loh”).
I don’t sleep at night, I find the hotel with difficulty and understand that in all respects it doesn’t suit me: 3-4 coastline, but I booked 1, dinner at another hotel, but there’s nothing to do ... At 7 am already at the airport (at 10 -50 departure), and get in line for documents, because. it turned out that the majority came for documents. All desks of tour operators work, but they have isolated cases of treatment. But the foreign tourist decided to work from 8-30, although they have the entire flight in line. Documents were given, cheers. True, I did not find insurance against non-departure, which they decided to arrange for me at the agency, but I paid for it (the second “loch”).
Hotel "Marina" turned out to be a small house in the very depths of the street, which is not on the map of navigators and search engines. The only advantage was that the receptionist was a girl from Ukraine who spoke Russian but was very unfriendly.
Settled in room 342 (black mark) above which is the installation for the elevator.
This installation rattled and buzzed so that the earplugs bought the next day did not save. I shuddered from its launch (equal to a jet engine), and then listened to which floor the elevator would “honk” to. It turned out that vacationers ride the elevator even to the second floor (one flight), especially at night. In comparison with this roar and sleepless nights, the lack of a shower in the toilet room (it’s hard to call a closet 1m-2m in length, lined with tiles and with a shower head in the wall, a sink, a bathroom, without shelves for accessories, etc.) seemed unimportant to me.
Breakfast - you can't call them that. I did not use them, because. I felt sorry for the rest, who are accustomed to a full breakfast. If I decided to make a sandwich, I would scrape all the ham or cheese from the plate, because. there was no other way to pick up the "finest fabric".
Dinner is even more interesting.
As a weight watcher, I don't eat until late at 7 o'clock in the evening, and since the difference is two hours, in a good way I should eat at five. It wasn’t there, contrary to the administrator’s promises, in a “friendly hotel” we were told not to come before 20-15, tk. until that time, their guests eat there. And all of us, dying of hunger, sat and waited 20-15 local time, 22-15 Moscow time, to be fed with what was left!!! ("loh" - 3, 4 ...)
This is just a short story about how "I spent the summer ...".
If you still decide to go to this hotel to save money, follow three rules:
1. do not include food;
2. do not check into room 342;
3. choose another operator, hotel ...
