Before traveling to Bulgaria, I read reviews about Iltur's bus transportation (it's a pity that after paying for the tour I couldn't refuse). I thought that it could not be so terrible, and everything would be fine. But in reality it turned out exactly as it is written here. Bus transfer to Bulgaria from Iltur is probably the most terrible transfer in existence. Save on everything, hence all the consequences follow.
In short, then:
1. Drivers look like a hangover (or maybe really a hangover), boors and barely speak Russian;
2. Buses are junk. The buses are VERY dirty, in my opinion it has not been swept since the creation of this bus, and it stinks accordingly. Almost nothing can be seen through the windows - they are stained with who knows what. The seats were stuffed more to accommodate more people and therefore it is VERY uncomfortable to sit - there is nowhere to put your legs;
3. We drove there 36 hours, and back 34 hours. It seems to be a sin to complain, since the memo says that the journey can last 52! hours (sorry this memo was given the day before departure!). But they really could have arrived 5-8 hours earlier if not for the HORRIBLE organization. Instead of departing at 12:00, we were picked up at 14:15 and taken to pick up more people, as a result of which we left 3.5 hours later. Because of this, we got into a shift change at customs - we stood for another 2.5 hours for nothing. Well, stupid stops of drivers in the field on the tracks - as it turned out, they smoked!
4. Already in Bulgaria, the bus broke down. Another bus quickly arrived and we were transferred to it and we were happy to go further, but after 30 minutes this bus also broke down =) 2 minibuses arrived not so quickly and they stuffed people like herrings into them (they sat on their hands in three rows) were taken further. And finally, after 20-30 kilometers of such a terrible ride, for the 3rd time they were transferred to the 4th bus and somehow brought to Sozopol. Okay, I endured it all fine, but there were a lot of children on the bus. It was terrible for them and their parents.
I want to say
- FOR TOUR OPERATORS: DO NOT use the services of Iltur - do not spoil the opinion and impressions about you because of them;
- TO PEOPLE: do not order a transfer to Bulgaria through the tour operator Iltur. Do not risk your health, and even more so the health of your children! Believe me, after such a move, the whole buzz of the rest disappears! Only bad emotions remain.
That's all, although this is far from all - there is not enough space to describe everything here. Ilturu is firm 1. And the travel agency that sent us to such an unforgettable vacation is also "-". Don't be fooled that they didn't know!
Just arrived from Bulgaria on September 17th. With Il-Tour and, sorry for swearing, the carrier BALKAN TRANS SERVIS! There are no censorship words to describe this HELLish "journey" back and forth! We have already written about the boors of Bulgarian drivers, frequent and lengthy breakdowns of old buses, absolute non-compliance with the timetable these unfortunate "buses". All this is TRUE!!! Plus our addition: while this "bus" was moving in Ukraine, the rear trunk opened and the luggage of one tourist fell onto the track, which was run over by a truck coming from behind. The damage is about 500 euros. The carriers did not even think of reimbursing! They said that they themselves were to blame - they closed the luggage compartment badly! Loading and unloading of luggage is carried out by the passengers themselves, and this is about 80 suitcases and bags, in the luggage compartment (which is at the level of a person’s chest) there is a complete mess, it is difficult to find your things and it is very difficult to climb the luggage compartment! tourists, do not repeat our mistakes: do not travel with IlTour until he changes the carrier! Especially do not take small children with you - for them it is a VERY HELL, they cry all the way, asking to go home - this is a VERY difficult test for them. as for an adult! After the end of the 2012 season, as the transfer driver who took me to Zaporozhye told me, the carrier was deprived of a license, but already in 2013 BALKAN TRANS SERVIS MYSTERIOUSLY (clearly how) received a license again and the entire 2013 season together with IlTour again they tortured and mocked the tourists!!!
