For a long time, my wife and I were going to go on a tour of the United States. We decided to arrange a trip through Inkomatur. The agency requested 100% advance payment for the tour, which we did more than 3 months before the trip. We bought plane tickets, got a visa at the embassy. Everything was going great until my mother's health deteriorated dramatically. The doctors made a terrible diagnosis. Mom needs constant care, the disease progresses rapidly. Naturally, under these conditions, there can be no question of any trip. We turned to the Incomatur with a request to either cancel the tour altogether or reschedule it for another year. The agency responded with a categorical refusal, although we provided all the necessary supporting documents. The tour is not cheap, we lose a large amount of money.

We are very sorry that we contacted this travel agency. We travel a lot and have worked with various travel agencies, but we have never seen such disrespect for someone else's grief. Even Lufthansa agreed to reschedule the date on the tickets for another period (in a year), and the moral freaks at Incomatur believe that the interests of their clients are just an empty phrase.

Apparently, Algol decided to save a lot! Previously, such buses traveled only to Bulgaria and Romania. These were not usually sent to France. Algol and I went 4 times. Only once there was force majeure and the bus was changed. But you are absolutely right: management should treat tourists better: losing a reputation is much easier than earning it.
