I booked a tour through an agent at Mouzenidis Travel to Crete for August. Hotel 5 stars Pilot Beach. Tour booked in April 2011 (very early). Naturally, the tour included a hotel, transfer, etc. and flight From Moscow to Crete and back. Due to the fact that I live in Irkutsk, I took tickets to Moscow and back on my own. The application, confirmed by Mouzenidis, indicated the departure time to Crete on 14.08.2011 at 16.05, naturally, I bought tickets from Irkutsk to fly to Moscow on the same day at 07.35 (more than 8 hours between flights is enough time even for flight delays). On August 12 (2 days before departure) I came to the agent to receive documents (usually all tour companies issue tickets just before departure). I am handed tickets, which indicate that I fly to Crete from Moscow not at 16.05 but at 04.50, the return departure time has also been shifted to an earlier date, all flights have turned into night ones instead of comfortable day ones!

If I knew this when buying a tour, I would simply refuse the tour altogether, because with children and flying at night - I don’t need such a rest, in principle, for which you will get tired more than you will rest. In addition, I understand that if I arrive in Moscow at 07.35, then I will certainly not be able to fly out of Moscow at 04.50. The problem was immediately voiced to Mouzenidis. They promised to come up with something and look, but later they said that they could not do anything! And in general, there were no proposals to resolve the issue from them! As a result, there is a day before departure, and in general there is nothing to fly on. I had to go to the Aeroflot website and buy Moscow-Heraklion tickets myself the next day, of course at the highest price, because there is no season and there are actually no places. Since we are 5 people with children, the amount for tickets was 90,000 rubles. In addition, I had to spend the night at the Sheremetyevo (capsule) hotel, which also cost 8,000 rubles.

As a result, the loss of 98,000 rubles.

, minus one day of rest, two night flights and a big pile of spent nerves.

Mouzenidis returned the cost of one night in the hotel, moreover, with a good discount (from hotel prices). The money for the lost Moscow-Heraklion flight was not returned, because you see, they could not sell it in 1 day.

Upon arrival, a claim was written for all these actions of theirs (according to their own contract) on September 6th. The claim was sent to them through the Agent. Until now, they are fed breakfasts about the answer. Today - November 3 - there is no answer (according to the contract, they have 10 days to answer). In addition, when I was already quite tired of waiting, on October 21 I sent a letter directly to the control department of Mouzenidis - [email protected]. From there, too, there is no answer!

Hence the conclusion - this is not a question of some employee who is trying to hide information from his superiors so as not to get hit on the head - this is the policy of the entire company - if problems arise due to the fault of the company - simply not be responsible for these problems and keep silent.

I have all the documents on this issue, but I most likely will not go to court with this (it's a pity for time).

This is the second time I get into problems with Mouzenidis (if necessary, I will throw a link to the previous trip through them) - I thought time had passed, the company had changed, it became big and normal. It turns out not.

Crete and Greece itself is a wonderful place and it is a pity that the largest operator in this direction is so irresponsible. I would love to go to Greece and especially Crete, but I will NEVER have any relationship with Mouzenidis Travel. And I do not advise you.
