Beware of Novovira if you don't want to ruin your vacation! This company saves money!
If you still decide to relax with them, be prepared for the absence of: 1) a clear organization of the tour, 2) a permanent group, guide and bus, 3) informative excursions.
And now in more detail: I vacationed with my family under the program "Mediterranean Fairy Tale" (the fairy tale turned out to be terrible) in July 2012. We flew to Barcelona from Moscow at 8 am, at ten o'clock we were brought to the hotel, and it turned out that check-in was not earlier than 2 pm. We were kindly offered to leave our things in storage and take a walk around the city (the hotel is on the outskirts). The first tour starts at 19.00, and you need to get to the venue on your own. Then every morning began with a run to the next bus (often with suitcases), which did not even always drive up to the hotel to take a seat, because. the bus collected people at several hotels, train stations and at the airport.
The week-long sightseeing tour included one completely free day and one moving day. The excursions were crumpled, uninformative, and the main part of them was free time. We regularly picked up and dropped off several people at stations and bus stops in each city. Novovira, in order to save money, united people from different excursion programs, and many had to get to the place of the next excursion on their own. There was a feeling that the guide Tatyana was most of all concerned about not forgetting anyone, and she didn’t care much about the excursion itself. There was no normal sightseeing tour in any city. As a rule, the guide told something along the way in the bus, and upon arrival in the city we were dropped off and sent to walk with a map. In Lloret, the group was taken to five different hotels, because.
“unexpectedly for Novovira” there was an International Youth Festival, and it turned out to be problematic to book places. On the last evening, it turned out that several people fly to St. Petersburg around 12 at night, and it makes no sense for them to check into a hotel for an hour. However, Novovira still booked a room for them for that night, not forgetting to include this in the tour price. The end of this wonderful tour was spent ten hours waiting for a flight at the airport, the flight was postponed due to the breakdown of the RedWings airline.
