We bought a tour to Planet Travel (manager Lyubov Sokolova) to the Maldives for April 2019. We arrived in Male at 8-50 in the morning, went through passport control and already at 9-30 were at the recommended counter number 16, we were found on the list and asked to wait a few minutes until the rest of the vacationers gathered at our hotel. At 10-00 everyone was invited to the boat, and we were told that the tour operator had not paid for the hotel and we would not be taken anywhere. They said that Planet Travel is far from the first case of non-payment. You need to pay the hotel $ 2160 again or call Planet Travel and sort it out. There is not so much money with you. In Male 10-00, and in Moscow 8-00. wait until the start of the tour operator 2 hours. Wifi does not work outside the airport. We hardly know English. State of shock. And this is on the day of the 50th anniversary, which they flew in to celebrate. After 2.5 hours they got through, another hour of waiting, and they sorted it out among themselves and we were notified that we would be taken to the hotel by the next boat.

We got to the hotel around 16-00 local time, and at 18-00 it was already dark there. In general, one day of rest was stolen from us. And until the end of the holiday, we were tormented by vague doubts whether everything would be all right with the return plane tickets, but nothing happened. To our request for compensation for a spoiled vacation, they promised in the future some kind of virtual discount for a future vacation. Perhaps our story will help many travelers make the right decision when choosing a tour operator.
