We rested at the Sun Siyam Iru Fushi Maldives 5 * hotel for our wedding anniversary from November 15 to 23. To say that it was a paradise holiday is to say nothing. I looked at a lot of photos and carefully chose the hotel. At first we chose another one, but thanks to our travel agency Let's go, which we have trusted for many years, we decided on Aira Fushi. The girls told everything about the hotels to the smallest detail, and this is very important for the Maldives. We flew with a transfer in Dubai and arranged the flight in such a way as to be in time for the internal one, from the capital to our island. By the way, just in case, we turned to two companies, just in case, so that there was more choice of hotels and the price was lower, but in another they offered us a cheaper flight, but they didn’t say that with such an arrival time we would have spent the night at Male airport)) In general, we chose Aira Fushi for the fact that the hotel is large, the beach is wide, the rooms are chic and there are many restaurants to choose from. True, the budget had to be increased by almost $ 1,000, but they did not regret a second.
We got there perfectly, without delays, we waited no more than 1 hour for an internal flight in a chic lounge, we had a bite to eat there. The flight itself takes 30-40 minutes, but it's more like a free air tour of the Maldives, the beauty is indescribable. This is not my first time in the Maldives, but earlier they got to the island by boat, so there was no such delight.
The next pleasant surprise was that while we were relaxing in the lounge, waiting for the domestic flight, we were already issued and immediately escorted to the room upon arrival. I won’t write about their pleasant meetings for a long time, I’ll just say that it’s very pleasant and immediately sets you up for relaxation. And of course the most pleasant thing was that we changed the room to a deluxe pool villa. This is done only for newlyweds, but the director of our travel agency wrote to someone and voila) there was no limit to our delight))))) A huge villa with a bathtub and a rain shower in the courtyard, its own pool, gazebo and access to the beach!
The hotel has several restaurants, so we only booked breakfast. This is what our manager Olga advised and it really turned out to be more profitable. And most importantly, you are not tied to one main restaurant. Because most of all we had dinner in Italian, although French is very tasty, but the portions are small in my opinion. There are amazing sunsets in the grill, but in general we went to everything and everywhere it was delicious. The average check for dinner is 200 - 300 dollars, a little expensive considering that we do not drink strong alcohol, but only a glass of wine or beer. But this is the Maldives, baby)) The hotel has a lot of Russian-speaking staff, Nastya helped us with everything. Not a single request was left without attention, this is the general impression of the work of the staff at this hotel: you feel like a VIP person in everything.
Special attention to the spa hotel. We took a package of procedures and every day we enjoyed ourselves in the capable hands of specialists, by the way, we dined there with light wonderful salads.
We did not go on excursions, only to the reef, my husband wanted more fish) Although, in my opinion, there are plenty of living creatures near the hotel reef. In the evening, after dinner, we either walked or had fun in the bar, several times there was even a disco.
On the way back, we had a late check-out from the hotel, but we had no problem extending the room for 3 hours. We were waiting for the flight to Moscow in the lounge, by the way, it was paid on the way back, but this was not a surprise for us, our magic fairies from the travel agency warned about this.
This was probably the best holiday we've had in our 5 years of travel. Thank you so much “Let's go”, our friends will also soon follow in our footsteps)
