For a long time I dreamed of going on some extreme tour to the Altai Mountains. Although I live in the Altai Territory (not far from the start of such trips), but for the first time I have matured for such an adventure)) And this adventure was the route - the Middle Katun.
My journey began from Barnaul, the guys from Siberia-Profi then met a group from Moscow at the airport, and already a full bus took me and a couple of other people from the hotel of the same name "Barnaul" in the city center. With all this big company we went to Gorny!!! We were having fun, getting to know each other, talking. Guides periodically talked about the sights along the M-52 highway. We had to go not close, about 8-9 hours, and here we are on the banks of the Katun River.
The guys quickly unloaded the bus, immediately began to cook something and even managed to put up tents for especially “experienced” people like me. Evening of acquaintances - proceeded at a fire.
In the morning, after breakfast (by the way, it was unexpectedly varied, there were fried eggs, pancakes with jam, fruits, yogurt on the table ... I didn’t expect to see the latter at all in field conditions), we were given a safety briefing on the water, seated in boats and after the captain’s command: "Forward!", We dynamically earned with oars!
Of course, I will not describe all the thresholds, but ... My God, how many unforgettable impressions we received from these obstacles!
The purpose of this note is to say sincere thanks to the organizers of my first water tour! The guides have become just like family people for us - 2 years have passed, and we periodically write off and continue to communicate! With these guys and into fire and water) Of course, I didn’t have to go into fire, but I would plunge into the water one more time with great pleasure!
